Just out of curiosity,what do the mal x's tend to be like to live with? Does the greyhound or lurcher blood calm them down a lot?

That is actually a good point,a dog protecting livestock out in the field isn't hunting,and there's nothing to stop a farmer or someone he's given permission from patrolling their land making sure there's no intruders around. If the dogs fast enough it might do more than run the fox off the land.

It surprises me so many drop the dogs weight as it gets colder,mine suffer in the heat if I let them fatten up in summer,and I like to keep a little bit of weight on them in the winter . -

What relevance is it that you mention Muslims when talking about him fasting ?Because it demonstrates their religion isn't a barrier to them competing in sport during Ramadan, it's a personal decision whether to fast or not. would you say thats just whippets ped or none ped whippets , would grews = whippet x grey be any tougher regards taking bangs and bumps , being larger frame dogs , the none ped whippets went up to 34lb tough little dogs , but i know what you mean you had to try and be bit careful with them, my little none ped 20 lb bitch , like little mouse around the house lol , but if she ran anything day/night she was bloody mad heart in mouth stuff with her I've only seen a couple of none peds run so can't really comment,but I can't imagine greyhound blood toughening any do

They're great to watch run,even just after a lure or tennis ball. the downside being how injury prone they are,but you can't have it all.

No,I just stick to playin cowboys and Indians in my back garden. It's less embarrassing . Though I seen a load the other day who all spoke old french so they could pretend to be Normans,they were marching around singing songs about famous battles (apparently). You can say I'm a conspiracy theorist if you want,but I honestly think all of these events are going to be used against us. Since the most recent Muslim terror attacks the state has support from the decent British people to spy on whoever they want as a matter of course,and with no accountability. This sort of incident will drum up support for those same measures among the ethnic and leftist elements in our country as well. Day time Roe when they were legal,but the best part was the variety. Especially of a day time,you might run a few rabbits and be happy enough then bump into a fox on the walk back to the van,those were always the best parts of the day.

So the only thing left to do is the responsible thing. yes true but the responsible thing is not to kill the dog for no f****n reason take the time and effort to find it a new home with someone who is capable of giving 100% to the dog and the dog will repay its master We'll have to agree to disagree,if I had to get rid of a potentially dangerous dog and couldn't guarantee I could get it a responsible home for life I'd put it down without a second thought.

I think we're a bit like Americans in that we don't realise just how unpopular we are! There's always some very vocal twat from this country trying to 'progress' some other country,Piers Morgan trying to get more restrictive fire arms laws in the US for example. And then there's all the stag do's etc with people getting bladdered,fighting,terrorising locals and generally acting like a hooligans.
