You'll get scientists in Europe and America saying they won't have kids because the worlds overpopulated,meanwhile Nigerian women are averaging about 7 each. If they thought about it logically they'd campaign to stop feeding Africa and Asia and/or to have the majority of their people sterilised.

We're in the same boat as a lot of once great countries,France,Germany the whole of Scandinavia etc The average American is less intelligent,less healthy and probably even more dependent on their government than the average European,but they fanatically retain certain rights. and those rights ensure they have the ability to determine their own lives. Imagine if we had easy access to combat rifles and as much ammo as we wanted,there'd have been least one big uprising in the last 30 years imo

He committed to a good cause and followed through despite the pain he must have suffered,I think he carried on with his events until just a couple of weeks before his death,didn't he? that's as clear an example of bravery and strength as I can think of.

would he get more business though? If only it was so black and white, sounds like they gave you a sensible answer. Oh course there was a risk that it may deteriorate on exercise, each person heals at a different rate and so can make progress at their rate and each injury is slightly different. This means that sometimes have to listen to what their body says and act accordingly to progress at their particular rate. NHS is shit,it's what you use if you have no other choice. I tore my ACL last year,and trying to get a straight answer out of the physios after the long awaited surgery was like trying get blood out of a stone. me:can I do this exercise yet? Physio:I don't see why not, if you think you're ready,it might re-injure it,but maybe not,what do you think? ended up just having to pay to see a private one,but won't be taking any risks in the future.

I read somewhere that Stephen Fry was writing a screenplay for a remake of Dambusters (probably already been made and aired) and he has called the dog "Digger" as it is "more acceptable" in this day and age. I wonder if he had the Dambusters flying Stealth bombers to make it more up to date? I've got a dog called nigger and the mrs calls him digger. I think she's just confusing the poor fecker lol but i won't shed any tears for this old man,he works for the BBC so he's probably a c**t anyway.

no he's well behaved. I was more seeing if anyone's had a bushing dog die or been very seriously injured out in the field. a few cuts or bumps etc is no problem

Aside from terriers going to ground has anyone here lost a bushing dog in the field? Reason I ask is I'm movin house and will be near to my parents house and reckon their collie x would make a decent busher,it's biddable and very keen on rabbits already. but if anything happened to him there'd be hell to pay.

The woman's a nutter,I wrote in the other thread the saluki x was 'rescued'in Ireland,forced to live in that shit hole and now gets to live out it's (probably very few) remaining days in the loving and responsible care of the RSPCA. I've met her a few times just walking the dog,if I'd have known how bad the dogs life was I'd have volunteered to take it off her hands.

no more than the modern greyhound was created by crossing greyhounds with bulldogs. There was a very small amount of bull-terrier added to the bulldog,Is my thinking. but maybe the KC is right about this and all it's other stories.

Yeah and then breed back to the bulldog. maybe there was the odd rat pit dog that could hold its own so they bred it to a bulldog to make a litter of smaller dogs.

I don't think so,just another of the KC's weird and wonderful stories. oh so please do explain how it was I think it went how I wrote above,all just theories now of course. staffs and pitbulls are basically the original bulldog with a very small amount of terrier blood. probably had more crap like pug added to KC staffs more recently.

from what I've read the bull and terriers weren't agile enough for small numbers but had the gameness for the big numbers of rats but where prodimently used for dog fighting I don't think a dog bred to hold large aggressive quarry would have been crossed with a dog bred primarily to kill rats and yap at foxes and badgers to make an improved fighting dog. They'd just use the pure bulldog imo they might have added some specially bred rat-pit bull-terrier blood later,to reduce the size without losing too much gameness,but not much imo. all just theories now,but imo the KC have mixed p

I don't think terriers back then were anything like modern terriers. They wouldn't have had the after care available,and they probably would have been running around free to keep rat populations down etc Any really hard/game ones would just get injured and soon die not passing on their genes. imo some would have been crossed with bulldogs to make them harder for the ratting competitionns,and a small amount of those crosses would have been added to the bulldog to bring down the size.

I'm in the same boat,the worst part for me is having to basically take away their innocence. they wave at and want to talk to strangers,but I've got to try to convince them to stay away from them and that some of them are very bad people.

You can work in private security. you'd have to join some sort of club for training etc but if you did that and got chatting you'd soon make contacts and find some leads for work.
