  1. that wouldn't stop attacks like this, these two wouldn't have muzzled it anyway.
  2. And do you really think this government (probably soon to be run by labour) is going to give a fair and balanced assessment regardless of breed and purpose of dog? They'd probably give the duty of checking to the RSPCA.
  3. Should be done for man slaughter, with the maximum penalty for having a dangerously out of control dog thrown on top of that. though I'd prefer to see the punishment fit the crime....
  4. Now when you put it like that .............I like your thought process mate......another persons posts to keep an eye out for Im probably not that clued up on todays opponents so you could well be right i just look at the ease he deals with styles......but as a welterweight you certainly couldnt put him on an all time list with the likes of Robinson/Leonard/Walcott/Napoles....but then its the age old saying " every great fighter needs a great opponent " I can think of a few great fighters he's avoided or left until they were far passed the best. I don't reckon he would've walked ov
  5. It's even worse in the amateurs,I think the rule is something like if you don't respond to a single punch you're seen as unable to continue.
  6. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s2d2UzAch8g this one always stands out in my mind.
  7. All too PC imo. I know it's a tragedy when it goes too far and someone gets seriously injured or worse, but how far do we need to go? early stoppages wreck a lot of fights imo. also agree with the gloves being too big,8 oz gloves now are different too 8 oz gloves of the old days, bigger more shock proof gloves aren't safer, they end up in more damage being taken and lots of skills being neglected.

leave the poor lad alone,he's from Cumbria. I'm just amazed he understood it...
  9. I see them all and get on with them all, maybe it helps that i live about mile away lol. except my sister that is,she's an annoying feminist/lesbian/gobshite/anti.
  10. it will have been on lead. the vet checked her over and said her pads are just very soft, probably because walking around on her freddy kruger nails was too painful so she just sat around. so there's no effective way to help harden pads?she acts terrified all the time and imo needs to blow some energy and get in a routine involving regular walks asap.
  11. I'm givin him a lift to the vet in the morning, but there must be some decent products for helping harden the feet out there. I think I've seen some yellow spray for this on lurchers feet before. the dogs a nervous mess,I'd probably put it down, but he's going to need to get it exercised as much as possible to get rid of some energy and get it settled properly imo
  12. How would being a serious homo help one answer the question?
  13. I suppose it depends on the ground you run them on neems, mines mainly on arable land mostly and apart from a bad leg cut she got lamping from some barbed wire around a horse padock she,s been injury free upto now, although when i came in with last night the mrs pointed out the amount of scars and bald patches she,s picked up working, the main thing is she,s not missed a days work due to trouble with her feet, she does seem to have very good feet for a 3/4 whippet, the vets not made a penny out of her yet, i bet thats the kiss of death . I didn't think whippets were known for bad feet? Th
  14. I personally don't plan on getting another dog with a lot of whippet in it. too much time laid up in or in the vets in the ones I've owned.
  15. A mate's recently bought a staff that was neglected by it's previous owner, apparently it hadn't been walked in almost a year and it's nails were in a bad way. I cut it's nails because the nerves weren't that far down them and straight away the bitch was walking much better. but I think he's walked her too far too soon, because she's obviously in pain with her pads now,to the point she's barely willing to walk and when I picked her up to carry her to her food and put her back down she rolled straight onto her side rather than stand up to eat. she's on some sort of pain relief now,I t
  16. I wish you the best butAre you going to be saying the same thing when interest rates rise and house prices fall ..... No way will prices fall in the long term, there aren't enough houses to go round.Houses are like any other form of investment, you need to be looking 10-20 years ahead, If someone buys a £100-00 house now and it costs say 600 pounds a month morgage, they will still be paying roughly 600 in 20 years time and own the house which will be worth a good bit more than they paid for it. . If they are renting for 600 a month now in 20 years it's going to be a hell of a lot more and t
  17. Would this not suit? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q-97CAgMIUg put some inner tube round the handle and away you go.
  18. not much of a DeNiro fan then?
  19. I reckon you'd be able to spot a decent person easier if you put it up for free. I don't think most decent people would take a pup without at least offering you something in return.

  21. Seven Donnie darko The seven samurai,if you don't mind sub titles. raging bull Dumb and dumber, just as funny now as when I was about 5.
  22. No idea how much it costs but I use an MOD survival knife. Big,heavy and durable. though he sheath did need altering.
  23. I've seen one lab x grey work, she smashes through cover and works rough ground very well, really obedient too. But doesn't have the gears for bigger open fields. would make a good ratching/lamping dog imo especially on rougher ground.
  24. If I had a litter that looked in really bad nick after a very short time and took them to the vets my main concern would be them calling the RSPCA,we all know where that can lead. I also wouldn't risk destroying a litter myself for the same reason. so can easily see why this woman panicked and disassociated herself with the litter.
