I think the point is if your dog came flying out looking to bite either the person walking or attack the other persons dog. I doubt anyone would hit your dog cause it just happens to be there. If it bit a person and they hit it fair enough if it was fighting another dog and they hit it with a stick I would break the stick over they're head people have dogs treat them like kids and cry like baby's when they get in a fight it's a dog not a child if I was walking down a road or path or whatever and a dog come out and attacked my dog and this has happened a number of times I don't make a fuss or

My place is right out the way with a bridle path running along the front and the amount of prats walking theyre dogs past and stopping to have a look is a joke my dogs kept inside but on the odd occasion it has managed to get out if a minge hit it with a stick I would break the stick over his head bridle path or not
