    I'm no expert mate and improbably wrong but as long as they have the right food clean water and are warm it isn't a bad sign they are fighting depending on the breed of course means they are healthy and got plenty of energy what are they by the way?

    I was always told 10 eggs and she clean but I think uk is right keep the hen with the cock from the start that's the best way to be sure

    I have no idea mate he was the first there was ten chicks from the same hatch and he was the only one that's why I kept him so long I didn't keep any of the others and I wouldn't breed from him I just like the look of him

    Yeh the chicks are of him I don't breed much and I cull very hard so I don't keep many but the hens I want to breed from are penned and the cock placed with them on a two day on two day of routine but I also have a few hens like this one from the same strain but that I don't really want anything from but she disappeared and when I found her she was on 5 chicks so I will just leave them and decide what to do when they are older and I also turn him out on rotation to that's how I know he's the father to these chicks

    The undubbed stag is Spanish cock over a aseel English hen he's around 10 month old now I've got a couple of other hens sitting at the minute they are better than this hen if they hatch anything I will get some pics up of them

    Yeh mate the chicks are about 3 weeks old now to be honest I didn't want anything from this hen but she come back with them some will see how they turn out

    They're mine mate I know the feather ain't very good at the minute the cock is still coming out the molt and he's tail seems to be taking forever to come back

    I don't know much about them to be honest but it seems to me the style they were used for wasn't popular in England and America but more so in south America and the Caribbean and the Spanish gave rise to the south American birds I could be wrong that's just my views and I saw some Spanish types in Cuba and speaking to a breeder there he was breeding Spanish but adding some American and aseel blood and the results were very much like some Peruvian birds I've seen i might be wrong and if I am please point it out that's how you learn after all

    I have absolutely no idea how to upload pics however if someone has a old phone that receives pics I would be able to txt them the pics and they could upload them for me I know It sounds suspicious but I am genuinely bad with computers but if someone inbox a old phone number I would like topmost some pics and get some opinions cheers

    This has been a very good section latley with some very good breeders sharing they're knowledge so I thought I would try and get some info as some members know I breed a few Spanish and I'm very interested in Spanish and Peruvian game birds but im very limited in my knowledge of they're history if any knows any famous strains or breeders of these birds or how they evolved to what they are today or if any one else has some could they post some pics it would be much appreciated thanks in advance lee

    Why do it always come back to travellers I thought this was a gamefowl topic maybe we should have a traveller section then w wouldn't have all these threads ruind and we could stick to the birds
