    I see your point mate I had a bitch that wouldn't look at a fox would just follow it round the field till it went throu a hedge but she would smash throu hedges ditches and jump anything in her way for a hare or deer so there is a difference and if he likes the dog for its gameness why not try it and learn the pups to jump

    Yeh roe the field behind me is hardly used just a horse turned out there sometimes so 3 roe have moved in and are left alone all they see is me and my wife and kids the other side of the fence and they have got used to us and they're getting quite tame considering

    Sitting on the side of my bed this morning before breakfast looking at the 3 deer sitting in the hedge at the back of the field when 3 foxs break from the opposite side of the field chasing each other and having little scuffles two dogs fighting over a vixen I'm guessing they don't notice the deer until one is about 10 feet away the 3 deer stand up and 2 foxs back away but one try's to charge past as he does the buck starts coursing the fox after 4 turns the deer strikes stamping the fox several times ending with the fox limping away just thought I'd share the scene from my window with the gro

    Most roe I've seen round here in one field was 10 the field right behind me has 3 in there moved in about a month ago two does and a buck they take no notice of me atall just a barbed wire fence between us and they get within 60 feet just look at me and carry on grazing
