  4. A single Mum of 2. How old are the children, does the Father help, how clean does she like her house, has she any other pets, does she have a job? I'm just trying to gauge how much time she has. I guessing the best she could have is a Harris Hawk. Saying that if she wants it to catch owt, then she really needs to look at all the above. I've seen a lot of shite birds that have been owned by a number of people with good intentions and they end up being a millstone, suffering in a shed or similar. As said. they are a long term commitment and you will get out of them what you put in, ver
  5. Got a few electric fences that are in need of repair if you want them?
  6. Meat birds and electric fences are hard work. POL you get an extra year of eggs and they naturalise to free range quicker.
  7. if only you were closer.... no seriously, I'd take them.

    axe's.

lol , It is a proper thing. As said I've had mine years, its also had a few donkeys use/smash it and it still lives. I don't have any problems with vibration and I chop tonnes every year. Fiskars gear has a 25 year warranty The cover thing is very good and strong. A number of my friends have bought one, they're about £50/60
  10. Should they of shot him as well? ?
  11. Think it turns out the last bloke on top was a Polski, bet you're all pleased about dat ?
  12. He will only be able to stay there if he gets a temporary licence for mobile home/residency, usually 3 years at a time. Just because you are working somewhere doesn't give you the right to live there, you may get away with it a few days a week and you will need to show you are paying council tax or that you are living somewhere else. You may be lucky and stay under the radar. But there are eyes everywhere. And you don't need planning permission to restore a building, only if you change to use of it.
  13. Sorry to hijack your thread Byron. When I have all of my dogs indoors (when it gets below zero) they sleep on blankets that I get from a friendly charity shop and they will get chewed, but hey ho. The blankets don't get sold unless they are special. I just put a fiver in the charity box and take a washing bag full. I use them in the back of the truck too. Wash them when they smell and throw them when there is more hole than blanket ? I also use them in the old dogs hard plastic bed indoors. Dead mans blankets ?
  14. hard plastic bed and offer an alternative chew. It's boredom, the more drive your dog has the more stimulation it needs.
  15. There's a lot of cnuts about ?

    axe's.

Had a splitting axe X27 for about 4 years and it's still going strong. Wood is our main heating source and the axe gets used. Last year I bought a X17 for smaller stuff around the fire for cooking. The X27 has been proper used, getting through between 7-10 tonne of wood per year. Fully recommend Fiskars. I have a Gransfors Forest axe too but it barely gets used
  17. I understand your frustration, but that's what they do. Obviously the muzzle works, but only while its on. The command "no" works well and giving them something they are allowed to chew. If your worried about stuff when you're not looking, then a cage is the answer. I've never used sprays etc. What I don't understand is you are out in the woods where you are away from household valuables, let it have a chew, its good for them. Your pup is 11 months old let it have a chew. Yes I've had a few and now I have two. You should see the state of my chew proof kennels ? . They don't chew
