    Growing up the rivers around me used to be teaming with them now there empty. As said pop them back there's not many about now . An old boy I used to fish with hated them he used to just pop the bail arm over and cast the forkers back out . I wouldn't try that one at home folks .

    I'm no expert mate but i'm sure some of the more experienced hound men would back me up on this one...... If you don't want your charges hunting rabbits then introduce them as young as possible and let them know there nothing to worry about. you've got a few pups about you as I can see take them out in smaller groups were there's lots of rabbit scent and be one step ahead of them . It's the same process as stock breaking. If you've older more experienced hounds then it's easier but if you have't let them know that scent is nothing to get excited about or you'll end up losing hounds on exe

    I'm surprised at how many people like a merl dog but saying that I remember going to a show a few years back and seeing a pair that stood out from the rest like a super model on the Thl fishing comp...........they can be striking to look at.

    tea spoons in our house mate there must be a tea spoon lake somewhere There behind the kitchen cupboard. every time I fit a kitchen I find loads i'll send a few your way you won't believe the stuff I've found but not a forking dog lead once

    Thats a good point there.. I prefer the collie marks because it helps to see were the dogs feet and head are when lamping.

    How important is a colour to you lot ? I'm well aware that the colour of dogs coat does't make them any faster, fitter or stronger if you get my drift . But there are still some of us that prefer a colour in there hound. There are those out there that opt for the camouflage that brindle gives in the day time and other that seek slick jet black lurchers to hide against the moon lite hedgerows. There are also some of us that just like a certain colour for there own reasons . I was also just wondering what are your preferences were and why really ?

    my mate made me 100 the other year he sewed them and then covered in hide and then sewed and riveted Nice shout bud ... I was thinking of glue but sewing would be a better job . I was also thinking of shrink tube to cover ......... I can't see me sewing hide . I need friends like yours

    Hello all , I've been contemplating make a few of my own rope leads for a while now . The only problem i'm having is finding a source of rope clamps . If anyone could point me in the right direction i'd be more than grateful. Any tips would be appreciated also . many thanks R.A.W
