. life way too short to get on with some people mate you'll relies that when you leave school. like I said mate good luck with the hounds but any self respecting hounds man wouldn't sell you one.......................FACT....................... I do like the look of the black and tan bitch mate. i was chatting to a guy a few months back about the merits of such a cross . what was the beagle like that was bred from?......... just out of interest. i'm not a fan of out crossing beagle blood like pugs/poodles and so on but i think that cross could be a handy tool in the right hands .

I'm scared of a 16lb barbel...... i'd need jet ski's . That must be some spot mate i'm more than jealous . Whats the average on that stretch last time i fished it the average was 10/11 lb-my biggest is 14 lb 8ozs from wye-had a few good 12s that would easy go 15+ ,my biggest fish is 16lb 2oz from taff-this season me and my mate will be fishing the rhymney for a barbel or 2 we put them in there 5yr ago and nobody could catch 1-they are growing and will but a nice bend in your rod :yes:you need to put plenty of man hours walking the banks looking for them and introducing some bait

What was he doing so wrong mate ? Got over excited constantly. A cat would cross the road in front and he would get so giddy that the hounds picked up on it and...well... he might as well of stood there and give a holla! lol I have never seen a man that hounds disliked as much. Takes years to teach manners but bad habits can be learned in days I suppose i'll bear that mind in the future . Is he still kennelman ?

It was mate . i'm going take a few more mates up there this year it's such a good stretch . I bet it's hard work not wetting a line in that weir pool mate . your boy sounds like a trooper fair play to him There was a salmon angler on the other bank, I may have had a rod with me but I ended up just watching lol.. The end if the pool was full of mullet too, but the next bit if fishing is a bit further down, Fin is a good lad, he was casting and baiting for himself today.. Come the end if the year he'll be set I'd say.. He didn't want to get up at 5, but fair play to him the though

your right mate , the last thing I want is my hounds hunting steaks in someones oven I can see it now .................the welsh steak hounds. slating one mans hounds is a sure way to get you those pups your after . no wonder you've been looking for 10 months.

Is that great wives or beat wives . i prefer the first. my mrs is a good un. there's not many that would put up with there man leaving the house at 5am on a sunday not answering the phone all day then turning up at 10pm in nothing but a pair of pants soaking wet and looking for food and a warm bath. she best be reading this

I was chatting to a guy yesterday and we were talking about the importance of a good whip . A good whip can surely make a bad huntsman look a lot better. Do you all think good whips make better huntsmen ? I know, I know ,Whats with all the question but the mrs wont talk about hunting anymore so i'm stuck with you lot A good "whipper in" is worth his/her weight in gold, unfortunatey alot of huntsmen dont appreciate there hard work as they should!!!! I have got a really good lad who whip's in for me, but by christ he's an ugly bugger I heard he's that good looking

HOW DID IT GO GENTS ?............ I managed two cub to 4lb 8 and a barbel to 7lb 4. i didn't fish all night so not a bad start the weather held off too. I spent a while watching a barn owl out hunting at dusk just to round off a superb trip. it still surprises me how close you get to nature when your sat at the end of your rod

Did you not know. . . . . he's shit scared of rats!!! He never said anything about being scared of them, i would have put the shits up him making him jump lol Yes mate. . . . . proper phobia!
