    There beagles mate.......... they're this years so won't make a start but might make a little appearance just to get used to it all. I'm not expecting or asking anything of them just yet but just hope they reach there full potential.

    They will only be 7 months at the start but I will take them take them out with my older hounds towards the end . We'll see how they do before we enter with the main pack

    Well things are going well with these pups and if i'm honest there a pleasure to have around. I'm not saying to much because the teenage stage is just around the corner but there very biddable at the moment. walking to heal and coming to the horn when I lose them in the bracken playing hide and seek. Already starting to cast too I'm really looking forward to the season now lets hope it's a good one

    I run with mine near the river on a railway line thats been made in to a cycle track and on country lines with high hedges and good shade......................forestry should be good on the rides plenty of shade too

    Now that's what springs to mind when I hear of a torn stopper pad................. Tape it up and enter the coursing then That was the start of a job and she had to carry on for another 6 hours ... No rest for my lot lol ........ Idiot Working on for six hours with no stopper thatts why idiot Why am I an idiot mr brains ...... come on fella ... I take it you didn't see the irony in that post ?

    I couldn't agree more. Conservation is the key to being a great hunter. Some of my places will only take one or Two good nights and I have to bare that in mind

    That's right out of order.................. fancy breaking in to an old mans house stealing his only companions and then killing one of them.............KUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the old dog was suffering a bit there's better ways to go about it. I wonder how you'd fair if one was waking you up with a torch and they copped an unfortunate one

    I just wear wellies................. I did buy gators to go with my boots but couldn't be asked with putting them on all the time

    Good point I always like to pick up one or two new places even if it's just for a change in scenery or a different challenge

    Been there and done that.... ...................even the props managed it . fair play getting up so early how do you think they train abroad I should imagine it's the same as they work just avoid the hottest part of the day.
