LOL :laugh: .i was gonna take a few pics this week. i'm running 4 at the moment but i've got a 6 month old pup and a friend has two. i should be up to 7 by the end of the season. they do riot on other things caught them baying up a tree to a cat one day lol :laugh: . but by law i can only hunt rabbits. put you cant be sure on every line they take can you.i'm pretty new to beagling but loving every minute. it's become a bit of an obession(spelling). oh yeah it was down to lev that i wrote it up thought it do my bit. took me ages can't type for toffee.

Try to get someone to take you out pal. it's easier with two people. buy some gloves aswell got sung to bits on sat the nettles still biting hard. only work one at a time mate your just asking for a dig otherwise. a bit later in the year would be better theres less cover about. atb RAW

Sunday morning. it was an early start to the day still dark as i ate my breakfast. i could hear the dogs getting excited in the the run so i had to rush for fear of waking the mrs. my dogs were loaded and off i went. excited myself for today was new ground for me to hunt and was a little unsure of the territory .it was over cast and a little blustery as i drove to meet my friends. after a quick catch up it was down to business. the lay out of the wood to be hunted was explained to me and the best positions for the guns was discussed. and off they went. Sounds like a genetic trait to me pal. some lines of ferts are so closely mate there are bound to be draw backs. i'd jump in the car and buy one from a different area then introduce some fresh blood. thb raw

have you given your jill a check over for fleas mate. i'd give her some spot on just to be sure. it could be nothing but for the sake of a few pounds it's better to be safe than sorry. you don't want her to suffer . if she's just molting out you'll have no problems. goodluck .RAW

redawn your nuts. you'll have antis doing summer saults. was it a maltese terrier you used.lol :laugh: .o a serious note if any of your dogs are marked up and the plod come knocking with the computer as evidence it dosen't look good. not matter how unbeliveable it is.

had one of the best weekends hunting of my life this weekend . i would be a fool to shout about it. it would soon turn out to be the worst week end. i don't think the problem is that people aren't going out. it a case of people are unable to talk of there achivements. if poeple start talking about friends they know then they run the risk of being branded an arm chair hunter. its a tricky one

that's why i didn't breed my jills this year. i only end up giving most away then having them back when peoples kids get feed up. i hope people that are new to this game read this and learn that it's not as easy as they think to make money from ferrets

same as sky cat with the game bird thing. my bull cross wont touch pheasants on my farm but has caught them when i'm out and about. also i believe the scent is different in wild animals to. ( from watching my beagles work) -

my pig feed have been safe the shed all summer and now holes have started to appear. i wonder how lol. time to start the war. it will be nice just to scrape a battle now and then .

ideation you could grass seed where the pigs were now then graze it in spring.

joe777. i also keep and rear pigs and the way i look at it is this. the pigs i keep run free in a wood ( natural enviroment)and get feed top quality food . they feel the sun on there back and eat wind fall apples. the pork from the supermarket never gets t see the light of day and feed eat and shlt in such a small area it's unreal. keeping pigs is the same as dogs for me you only get out what you put in. well done ideation!!!!! theres nothing better than the taste of fresh free range pork. and you can taste and see the difference.. anyone want to buy any lol. :laugh: :laugh:
