  15. welcome to the world of lurchers my friend. it will be frustrating and hardwork but you'll get so much joy out of it if your willing to put in the hard work. start at the begining. tease the pup with an old sock then when they mouth it make a fuss , let them have it . when that game is mastered start to retrive in a hall way when they bring it back make a fuss. move on to a rabbit skin keep every session sort and before food. most of all mate spend loads of time with the pup, bond and take to the pup to diffrent places .you'll be suprised to see how much quicker a well socialized pup learns. t

  17. i wish i could take a few pics of my dogs like those. cracking pics .
  18. not at all mate.just make sure have you've bonded well with the pup. i think it does them the world of good. brilliant for mental and physical developement. my pup is three monts old now and i've started to take her on short walks with my four other dogs
  19. in my opinion thats a really complicted question mate . the easest way is to list your prey in order of preferencer and the atributes required then select from there. In the right hands any dog will do anything for you pal. saluki/ whippet/greyhoundx bull/greyhound and collie/whippetgreyhound have worked well for me.
  20. you just had some great advice given allready. if your still in doubt about these sort of places mate just do the maths. there are only seven days a week. how is possible to have 10 or more working lurchers.
  21. cheers pal. i'll keep it thou . thanks
  22. Why does the door the door always get slammed in my face when seeking new ground ? no matter what i do 99 out of 100 farms turn me away. to top it all off i recently read about thives offering free pest control then robbing the place. so we can all look forward to plenty more looks of suspicion
