    Hi all, I recently bought a job lot of poly tunnel rings (second hand) and after making my own bespoke tunnel I have 3 spare and would like to offer them up for sale or swap. They measure 26ft (over the hoop), 15ft wide, 7ft high to the centre. 32mm pipe width. So with those measurements you could build a tunnel 15ft x 10ft ..7ft high (or higher if put on a frame) £30 FOR ALL 3 ..or swap for scaffold boards (to make raised beds). I can put you in touch with the guy who I bought them from if you require more...leeds area west yorks. PM me if interested

    Our local pheasants tend to choose hawthorn, but they move to higher trees (birch, oak) as the season progresses. they also don't like to sit in a howling gale if they can help it, always choosing to sit on the east side of a wood if its a west wind . edited to ad "the coat is ok"

    moxy, the best chicken I ever ate was a pure Indian game. they were very slow growing which imo added to the flavour. they were fed on wheat and corn(maize).. non of that growers/fattener shit that most use. they have to have space tho ..free range is better.

    When I worked for council we always stopped mid/late oct. but I wouldn't cut owt of mine in this weather as it will compact the earth as you do it.
