    Ive had chucks before, just made a mess got the mite general ball ache, not saying a mobile run will be a walk in the park but just an idea at the mo , Thanks for the replys. x

    Hi all thinking on keeping a couple of hens again, ive been thinking of a run on wheels so i can keep moving them around the garden rather than a permanent one, ive seen a few pics on the net,any ideas or suggestions gladly recieved. thanks.

    Talpex are the main trap i use these days,i think with the duffus you take the trap to the mole but with talpex as you've filled the tunnel the mole will sense this and want to clear,so in this your bringing him to you, i dont see the need to be looking for connecting runs etc,just place talpex near fresh activity and for me thats job done on to the next. As for setting them the more you use the quicker you get,i do make sure that the jaws do gather along the base of the tunnel for a sure kill.     I've had problems with my back over the years i found a back support i brought on the net helped alot just wear for a few days as not to rely on it, also i wear dealer boots now its a small thing but not bending down to mess around with laces after a long day helps.

    Im a sucker for trying and messing about with different traps, with all these great threads ive been sticking all the different traps I've got in the ground 5 in total, and ive come to the conclusion if its not broke don't fix it, Talpex wins hands down for me, I no they are only single catch trap but I can pretty much stick these anywhere and 9 times out of 10 I catch, ive got over 50 talpex now as I just got fuoocked off with the back fills in the duffus chasing moles just don't pay.

    Ive had a bit of this from time to time just cant get the boggers to play ball, all I can think of is maybe form some sort of natural cover be it a small stack of bales or something down them lines (must be safe so none target etc), then food and lots of it gain there trust then let um have the traps. Sounds like you may have tried this and im not wanting to tell you how to suck eggs its just what springs to mind, anyway hope your on them soon

    My mates ltl stopped working, we cleared the sd card and that was the problem think it had over 700 vids on it lol.

    Might be worth going back to the fields that they were stolen from and stick a load of markers about with no traps placed, if you can get hold of a trail cam place it and if the thick scum fu@cker returns you might have a chance of getting your traps back. If you lived near me you could borrow my cam no worries.

    Just buy a couple of decent traps (flatpack) or (Talpex) get them in the ground,if mole trapping is in your blood you`ll stick with it and work out what the moles life pattern is, and how the traps need to be placed,its all trial an error and pure joy when you master it. Also there is a very good dvd you can get from Fourteenacre for £15 you need to watch . Good luck matey.

    I got a video of a rat from me trail cam, it was using a hole in a rotten window, soon sorted the fat fecker with a fenn. I would put it up but have no I dear how to on here as it says the file is to large.
