  1. doubt it mate, its hassle getting there have a good one tho
  2. I do, that's why if I get rid of the 97, if I don't get on with the 98 I will regret it. best off keeping the 97 and splashing out for a 98 lol
  3. you selling the hw97kt and getting a hw98, Aaron> ?? that's what im thinking aswell, great minds and all that I love my 97 tho I might regret it but I don't want to have 3 rifles again lol, the hw100kt is going nowhere fast, that's a keeper,, but I only really have need for 2 rifles, 1 springer and 1 precharged,. decisions decisions .............
  4. Www . The HW100 life . Com Used to be all about the 97kt this forum But the darkside is taking over lol Nice rifle that mac bet it shoots as good as it looks Bet you will be happy with it Let us know how it performs
  5. i still feel my hw97kt is better than my hw100kt I want a hw98 next.. or a hw77k laminate .. or a hw80... or a left handed walnut tx200 lol. im a springer man at heart you see,, yeah the hw100 is fantastic in its own, boringly accurate, lifeless shot release, super quiet, multishot, gloriousness but it lacks soul, lacks character ! give me a springer any day of the week over a pcp, maybe not for hunting, but for enjoyment and rewardingness a springer is king. trying to master the art of shooting a springer is much more rewarding and challenging than shooting any pcp
  6. tent peg idea sounds ok, but I would prefer a resettable- by shooting- one thanks mate
  7. Cheers mate 5 for £60 is good never even thought to look on ebay
  8. Havent found anything about this online so thought id ask here, there are 2 types if im correct 1) the type that you stick in the ground with a spike, which has a killzone and a reset target aswell and 2_ the fall flat ones with the string to pull them back up after you knock them down.. well, I wanted to buy a couple of type 1) to practice and plink with at my permission, but they all seem to be sold out online, easy to just stick in the floor right.. but as the type 1) are all sold out I might have to buy some type 2) ones with the string (more effort? lol) but ho
  9. I know bud but i have a 97 lined up to mate and the crow sport is the one that has to go i hardly got eny sleep last night thinking if i was doing the right thing :cray: atvbmac At least you will be getting another proper gun then im still a springer lad at heart, even tho the darksides warm loving hands are grasped around me.
  10. yeah its probably a german import. best check the power, it might only be doing 5 ftlb
  11. Daz39 with the full blown I.T. lesson  Can do central aswell and right hand side..
  12. I tried rws superfield in my hw100kt .22 yesterday and they were allover the place, like a shotgun! at 36 yards it loves jsb exact, and AA field a close second
  13. hope you don't regret it too bad mate.. the darkside is taking over then. get a hw100 instead of the r-10 if I was a right handed shooter, and had the money, I would have had it off you. I'm sure someone will be very happy with it good luck with the sale mate hope you get a good price
  14. Mate I was shooting the hw100 at 36 yards today testing pellets, changing from Ftt 14.6gr, bang on zero, to bisley magnum 21gr the drop was about 200 miles wasn't really, but it was a good couple of inches, half a turn roughly on my elevation turret! and the noise they made upon impact, feck me, I know why Daz loves that rapid in .25
  15. Fair play Roger, and everyone else. as you say its upto us to choose if we shoot something or leave it be. I probably wont shoot any more Jays, unless I start seing quite a few. hopefully some squirrels will make an appearance today there aren't many Hares by me, seen one on my permission, as it was bolting out of the undergrowth at a rate of knots! cheers SKoT

  17. Didnt think of selling the wings..they got burned in the campfire
  18. That's true, well done on the jay Skot but please leave a pair to breed! Jays probably do more good than harm by planting acorns and then forgetting where they put them so I reckon that makes up for the eggs and nestlings they steal. There is another bird that also steals eggs and nestlings and also does far more tree damage than the jay but for some reason it's protected, our good old spotted woodpecker! I don't really think of jays as a pest in our area, rarely see or hear them so I leave them in peace. I hope you saved the pin feathers and put in your hat! Them little blue ones? I di
