You do right keeping that Elliot mate! if it had stipling/chequering on the forestock it could look better than mine they are better looking rifles than the 97, I don't like the silencer- I think it looks better just a barrel and underlever, more old-fashioned? lol the 97kt stock looks best imo then the 97k then the old style 77 with the round cheekpiece this one is quite nice tho, feels really well balanced, cant wait to get a scope on her, the comb is definitely too high to use the Irons I might end up picking up a 97 thumbhole beech stock for it if I cant get on with it lik

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. Introuducing FAJ, my brand new- straight out of the box air rifle, costing over £350 the hw77k .177 ! First impressions-, very nice balance and a nice finish to the exterior of the rifle with a lovely stock. Second impressions-, cocking the rifle is, well.. horrid! very grindy and quite stiff, ive seen better Gamo rifles straight out of the box. Third impressions-, Shooting the rifle.. When Aaron (Risingfriend) describes a spring-loaded rifle as a 'boinger' he must have seen rifles similar to this to give them this nickname!! BOIIIIIIINGGG goes

Fu**ing hell Aaron cracking shooting mate! that's some tight groups, my 95k was just the same, very accurate and very twangy lol. but a fettle and relube sorted most of the twang out. also it was a lot quieter than my hw97kt. I just couldn't get on with how light it was, I like a heavy gun as has been said, the hw rifles are still blisteringly accurate straight out of the box. -
Pigeons in the freezer and i let my mate have the squizzer. This one just sat looking at us. Easy shot

Am I Loaded? - Tip
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to TimS's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
am I right in thinking you Can double load a hw100.......? You fire shot 13.of magazine 1 open sidelever. cock sidelever. close sidelever, pellet 14 is now in the barrel ready to be fired. open sidelever. release magazine retaining catch thingy and remove magazine 1 insert magazine 2 fully loaded with 14 pellets. ;'lock' magazine in close sidelever. now 2 pellets are in the barrel????? double damage on next target? blockage in the breech end of barrel?? wouldn't recommend doing this incase it F*cks your gun up like. but can you double load a hw100 -YES lol -
I daren't remove my silencer incase the barrel comes loose lol. its quiet enough for me as it is with the standard hw silencer anyway. hope you get your sorted tho mate, amazing rifles !

Some nice guns there mate -
in my .22 hw100 the rws superfield looked like a shotgun had hit the target at 35 yds but the jsb and AA fields were 5p sized groups everytime. and im not the best shot in the world. but yes the hw100 .177 should do a lot better than that mate, try a few different brands of pellets

LOL only just noticed that
-
yeah if id have had a .177 in my hand id have waited for the headshot or left it for another day. if I had a .25 I could get away with shooting it in the foot or up the arse  (JOKE) took me ages to get that pose set up with the squizzer. her head kept bobbing and she fell over aq few times. think she was drunk haha. posing them is a skill in its own right !!

Ayup lads, been out again today with my mate, I took the hw100kt .22 and he took his bsa lightning. to cut a long story short we went for a mooch and I got a woody at about 18 yards standing it landed in but saw me so I had to take a quick one, shooting it front on in the left breast and exiting out of the middle of its back, had to neck it after but I got there within 2 seconds so it didn't suffer. it looked like it was about to fly off and its head was covered by a few leafs so I took the chest shot. now for anyone that wants to say something about headshots only, I knew for a

This is what happens when a woodpigeon tries to stop a .22 pellet with its chest lol
-
well guys been out today, shot a decent group at 28 yards (about 1cm E.T.E, easily buried by 5p) ((haven't been out much lately, out of practice)) and a poor group at 34 yds but the wind was getting up when I shot that group and I pulled 3 of the 9 shots (shooter error!) ((bottom one)) after it had been steady for the 28 yd group. got this woody (young bird, not a rock dove) at 24 yards standing unsupported, through the chest and smashing its way through the wing of the bird splitting the bone and exiting causing almost instant death!!! this sub 12 ft/lb (11.4 fpe with jsb 15.89)

My old mk1 AA S200 was a right wobbily rickety old thing, but still one of the most accurate rifles I have ever fired.
