    I traded them all in lol. all i have at the min is my hw100kt .22 My hunting/pest control rifle and a webley nemesis .22 pistol lol so i need a springer for target practice and plinking so .177 makes sense as its cheaper pellets lol but im left handed and a weird shape lol so i want a more adjustable gun, and i like heavy springers, and fancied a change from the underlevers so the 98 ticks all the boxes- heavy adjustable ambidextrous break-barrel! but then i saw that TX

    well apparently hull cartridge are waiting for some hw98 .177 and its going to be 6 WEEKS! don't want one in .22. fancy a hw77k in the new stock in .177 aswell but I did want the adjustability factor of the hw98 so it fits me better..? least hassle possible with new springer, don't want to be fitting my own adjustible buttpad if I can buy a rifle with one already on. (98) but then theres the risk of getting a Friday afternoon HW sh1tter that's rough as .. something rough! so then it would need tuning, even more waiting time! and then I looked on the rack in the gunshop

    ...Got the hw100kt .22 back from it getting turned down a bit after it went over the limit! talk about withdrawl symptoms! Rattling like a druggy without a fix.. even bought a crappy little bsa lightning so I had something to use in the meantime ! picked her up today before work and put the panorama back on her. then work took FOREVER!! got home grabbed her some pellets and some card to use as a target and off I went.! zero was off as expected at 33yards falling 1" high-left, soon got that sorted then went for a mooch my mate tagged along with the bsa lightning he bough

    it looked great camo, and now it looks even better in black gloss! no offence Secretagentmole, but at the end of the day its Mac's stock so he can do whatever he wants to it right..? I might spraypaint my hw100 tigerstripe pink and yellow :laugh:

    Apparently my gunshop are waiting for stock to arrive to hull cartrige. Iv already been waiting 2 weeks :/ going to shoot it out the box for a bit then send it off to sfs in a few months

    I prefer to have the scope as 'low' or as 'close to the barrel' as possible. Duno why i just do lol

    The 4-16x50 Mamba will fit on a 97kt - I had one on my synthetic and what a scope! depending how far back you mount the scope according to eye relief, the objective lense may overlap the loading bay, making loading a pellet quite fiddily. I have my scopes mounted quite far back so it wasn't a problem for me. as for mamba lite, I have the 4x16x44 and its a really good scope, seems to suit the hw97kt very well (and perfect fit in medium mounts), as does the panorama 4x12x50 in high mounts the whole hawke vs mtc is down to preference, but all of the scopes I have mentioned are great quali

    So what if its heavy?? that's a good thing in a springer helps reduce muzzle flip and absorbs some of the recoil. ultimately aiding accurcy

    You will love the feel of the sfs s2 97's macI thought my 97 was brilliant with vmach kit in.. then i fired a few sfs 97s ( s1 & s2) and a 98 and a spectre (95) And wurzs 4Q ...and oh my days my 97 didnt even compare. It felt like a dog log compared to the PROPERLY TUNED rifles i had been shooting!

    Nice pair you got there rob if the 98 had a gold trigger blade it would look better, and replace the front stock screws for some brass ones bet its hard shooting it without a scope tho
