    Eyup lads went shooting yesterday set off at 10am didnt get home until 730pm haha mainly target practice and getting some pellets through the gun to finish getting it bedded in. wasnt much about to be honest, saw the deer again which was nice. could hear quite a few pigeons and crows but just couldnt see any. decided to go home because i had about 20 rws superdome left, which my gun doesnt really like at long range, although there bang on at 30 yards pellet on pellet just getting to the gate to leave my permission and a female woodpigeon landed about 20 yards away! i couldnt get a shot tho

    not bad group pal i was practicing at 58 yards yesterday and doing pretty good, came back to 25-40 and was near enuf pellet on pellet thought to my self this is too easy LOL my gun doesnt like rws superdome at least thats confirmed anyway lol and a bit more practice on my hold and position is always a good thing. keep these groupping pics coming lads SKoT

    i was in gunshop today and there was a couple of tx200s for about £170 i think.. (ive already got 2 sets of spare scopes and mounts).. i was thinking about it ....lol there was an s400 .177 for bang on £300, and a couple of hw100t/kt for £450-£500.... wish i had loads of spare cash haha

    since i got my 97 in april my groups have halfed in size at 35-50 yards.. its all about practicing the more time you put in the better you get-like lots of things not just shooting.. also i do think pcp's are kind of boring, but if you have serious vermin problems then the 10/14 shot is a great 'tool' to have and i also think any kill with a springer is a hell of a lot more rewarding. thats just my oppinions tho.. if your doing a 'job' go for multishot pcp, if you shoot for the odd rabbit stew and a bit of fun get a springer. like its been said before tho, with the hig

    to make this a 'fair' test in my oppinion the same guy should be using both rifles.. for example if Si (zini) used his hw100 and his hw97 to do a grouping comparison.. we all know he is a brilliant shot and his knowledge of his own rifles best pellet etc would be spot on so you know it would be a true comparison of pcp vs springers or davy with his guns... or a lot of other great shots on here..

    ive just been doing some plinking today and at 35 yards i was getting 5p sized 1 holers with air arms, but some fliers aswell... because i mixed a tin of 4.51 and 4.52 together..LMAO it really likes one size but hates the other.. just shows it can make a big difference in the size of same pellets.. might try wash and lube the best pellet for my barrel (when i find it) and check the differnce between lubed and un-lubed.. do a chrono aswell and see if it does make a big difference to the powerr. i was getting good groups at 51 yards aswell when i was using the same size pellet hahaha.

    might have to have a proper look into all the rules laws and procedures etc of trapping seing as i dont know the first thing.. also is it quite cheap and easy to make traps? or should i just buy them when i get spare money.. and is it an all year round effective controlling method??

    proper job on them maggies fella.. great stuff.. can you get crows in similar traps?? millions on my permission but getting a shot off is hard work! havent tried the static hide and wait approach yet but im sure larsen would be a lot more effective

    Eyup people just a few hours out better than staying in eh! got to the farm and a quick zero chec showed either my rifle didnt like the air arms field pellets that were on their first trial with my 97, and that the zero had been knocked. aiming for the bull in the centre the pellets were impacting left so a few shots and clicks later i nearly got it sorted. aimed for the top-centre of the target at an exit hole on the card which produced a 5shot group to the right. then adjusted so i could take 5 shots at the top right target, but over-did it... few clicks later and 6 shots were on the

    OI im mister T and yes si your right... rules are made to be broken.. shot into a thousand pieces with a tin of accupells and your sfs 97 just been out for a few hrs and the lens flare didnt seem too bad today.. was quite dull low light tho not proper bright sun.
