  1. cheers mawders mate like i said im not bothering with a tune doesnt NEED one.. but i do NEED to get the balances down on my credit cards lol
  2. get .177 Alan.. cheaper pellets lol and i went out sat and sun but cant go mon-fri unfortunately because of work. looked a nice morning for it here in bradford. light drizzle and no wind.. wish i wasnt at bloomin work!
  3. Yes it would be a good little rifle to add to your collection mate. A well shot Ultra with the right pellet, filled to the right bar charge will keep up with a HW100 for accuracy mate I'm sure of it. Si. to be fair mate i dont NEED and cant afford a pcp. on my 1 perm i have atm theres nothing left 'coz ive already killed it all lol. but i like my target shooitng with my springers to try improve my ability all the time it just feels a lot more .. better?... and rewarding shooting a springer accurately. if i got a new permission with a large vermin PROBLEM i would probly get a multish
  4. just watched the review of the ultra se aswell Si, looks a stuner of a little rifle. if i got a pcp it would be a hw100kt or a aas410k.. but now the little ultra is food for thought! lol
  5. my options are 1.) get the same stock Si has there for my hw95k but left handed version.. or 2.) sell it and buy a prosport and learn to shoot right handed LOL or send AA a beggging email asking them to make 2 lefthanded walnut prosports 1 for me and 1 for pianoman hahaha. excellent shooting tho Si as usual. spoilt for choice now with all these bloody guns lmao. its hard enough for me to choose between my 95k or 97kt..... never bloody mind having 5 or 6 rifles to choose from bet your in for some right headaches lol
  6. i read somewhere a barrel as short as 8 inches can still be as accurate as any. as long as its threaded and crowened properly then why not eh?
  7. Thanks il try keep it up, practice makes perfect as they say.. id love to come over and meet you and andy. i only have one 'shooting buddy' none of my other mates are interested so i like coming on here to share my enthusiasm towards air rifles with like minded people. id love to meet more fellow shooters .. and warm weather would be better for me aswell, hands wouldnt be shaking from being cold lol, so id also have no excuses hahaha. will be nice to compare rifles aswell. obv yours will be a lot better smoother etc but mines still nice enough for me.. for now lol
  8. How you doin me old mucker? havent heard from you for a while, we shall have to have a meet up and shoot over at your end when weather gets a bit better and you got some time free- if thats still ok? would be great to meet such a gentleman and spring rifle master in the flesh seen your post on weihrauch forum other day about shi te HW quality, just wondered if you got your 97kt back off andy yet.? mines bang on as you can see lol nice to hear from you mate, SKoT
  9. i heard them felt cleaning pellets are a pile of C R A P you might be better off with a good pullthrough and some patches. napier do a good one. apart from that sounds good mate.
  10. i tried at my local golfcourse when i was like 17-18 and the greenkeeper didnt mind us he just said to make ourself scarce when the golfers started arriving. but the chairman said no as they already had pest controllers (who we never saw) so it was 5=7am summertime semi-poaching missions hoping nobody rang the police. lol, young and stupid rings to mind never got caught tho. although i dont reccomend it. best of getting written permission and making it all above board and make sure the whole course knows about it. GOOD LUCK SKoT
  11. If you got on with the 97 I think you will probably prefer the , because its heavier than its younger little sister the 95. For my next gun I either want a or 77, never had those, Ive had 4 97's tho lol ....... or a prosport if they start making left handed ones, not holding my breath tho lol let us know how you get on then, SKoT
  12. nice one mate. cant beat a bit of fried woody breast
  13. both .177 Truth is there all as good as eachother. i was shooting barbed wire everytime with the 95 on sat at 27yds its amazingly accurate.. as is the 97 as you can see with the chuddy at 40yds.it just depends how you like your gun.. long/short fat/thin heavy/light. i prefer the fit of the more adjustable 97 with the thumbhole that suits me better but some people dont get on with them and prefer a more traditional stock like the 95's also .177 + .22 are both as good as eachother again its personal preference. good luck choosing a rifle but with any 95 97 you cant go wrong. cheers SKo
  14. your probably not going to need 24x lol somewhere between 2.5 - 16x is most you should need. depending what you want to use it for
  15. Nice dogs mate, i see a few roe every so often on my permission. seen it today at 105 yards i wasnt taking a shot with my air rifle tho lol
  16. Ayup lads and lasses, This morning whilst watching chelsea i decided to strip degrease and re-grease my hw97kt .177 .. just for the sake of it lol. so i did also heres the beaytu (95) and the BEAST (97) I put about 50 or so shots through after zeroing her at 35yds then shot; this 4 shots at 35yds (5p sized black circles) this 3 shots at 40yds (half mildot holdover on 10x) (wrigleys extra piece of chewing gum) and then 10 shots on the chrono with 4.52 jsb exact 8.4gr, unwashed unlubed unweighed. 11fps variation with room for improvement Thank you weihrauch, was t
  17. Good lad, start em young when i have a son/daughter i hope they show some of the same interests as me. nothing better than sitting on a nice day teaching your young un how to shoot or fish. nice one bigmac all the best to him for many happy years of hunting ;D
  18. i feel as though my standard hw95k is just a piece of junk compared to these bad boys but its not after the groups i was getting today 5 shots touching at 35yards cant go wrong.. its a good job, for their sake not mine, that all the squirrels were hiding, and the crows magpies and woodys were all 70yards distance minimum before they flew off. or they would be brown bread... going to bang the tracer mini on top and go find some rabbits soon (cant afford nightvision) LOL was thinking about a custom stock and a tune for my 95 but i dont think its going to be anytime soon OH
  19. curiosity killed the ca... erm i mean pigeon
