Not sure to be honest but I know after last weekends experience on my permission that shot gun ammo travels approximately 70 acres when fired at a 45 degree angle and doesn't penetrate your clothing when it hits you!!!!! Thankyou farmers son who decided to fire lead shot in my direction even though you knew I was on the permission! It was at that point I decided to count my blessings and go home early! Mawders

Brilliant result si, the spectre looks and sounds like an awesome rifle! My stage 1 tuned 95 from tony last summer had a deviation of 2 to 3 fps as well over a ten shot string. Very consistent rifles that tony tunes and I agree, keep an eye on those power levels, mine crept up to 13ft/lb and had to go back after 500 to 700 pellets.

Si, Good luck with this one mate, just noticed you entered the vhtv spectre. I'm sure you will do well buddy. Only reason I'm not entering is I want to try hft at a leisurely pace this year and get used to it before entering any comps. Never done hft before so I need to learn to walk before running. Miles they are not phasing it out completely but there I have heard rumours there will not be a dedicated .22 class, it will be grouped into recoiling if its a spring piston rifle which means the advantage would go to those who use .177 unless your good then it makes no difference, I'm sur -

In the same boat mate, I've only used AA fields in 4,52 size and the results are good, however I'm sure there will be a better pellet. Expensive game isn't it? A good friend on here sent me some rws superfields to try as they perform very well in his pro sport. I've yet to try them. Maybe give AA fields in 4,52 a try? I can send you a tester bag if you pm me your address. Why? I think we should all help each other out. For the sake of a few pellets it may stop people spending ten quid on pellets only to find they are rubbish. -
Uttings are fab! Next day delivery and their prices are very competitive.

I purchased a mountmaster for my dad for Xmas and its spot on. He uses his on a tx200 and it hits the target no problem, really clear optics and well priced with a milldot reticule! What more could you want.

Just type in Sheffield custom stocks, the cs500 stock is the dogs on the HW95, its what I was going to buy had I have not sold. They are walnut and have defined cheek pieces!
-
Nice shooting and nice rifle, well played!
-
If its firing smoothly and accurately mate then leave it be. The one thing I would have definately done to my 95 if I kept it would of been to get a custom Sheffield stock as I found the ambi cheek piece on mine not high enough for my liking.

That OVNO means or very nearest offer.

In my opinion the best break barrel rifle I've ever owned, mine was stage one tuned from tony wall at sandwell field sports! It was a joy to shoot and a rifle I regret selling but needs must I had to sell in December last year. You'll really enjoy that rifle mate. Try accupell through her if she's .22. H&N FTT are also good through her.

Nice result! Nice looking rifle to!

My advice would be to listen to tron he knows his stuff regarding air rifles but it's your money my friend.

If your on a budget and want a really good scope I can't rate the niko sterling mountmaster high enough! For 50 quid delivered you get a 4-12 x 50 AO IR scope and mounts which is everything you need. Mildot reticule and very clear optics. Purchased one for my shooting partner at Xmas and they work a treat!

I know someone else who had work done by the manky mog only to find it leaked like a sieve after and that he would not honour his "warranty" so take care! Bowkett working on a Super 10 adds money however! Well mole all I can say is I ACTUALLY had the work done on my S10 and stayed whilst the work was being done, bloody nice bloke and knows his stuff with S10's. it was perfect afterwards! Bowkett is the man there's no disputing that but he also charges alot of money for the work he performs. RancidTom's work was first class and all he wanted was a few quid! Always pays to shop around in thi

Well played mate. Awesome accuracy. Lovely rifle to, a real clean example.

Yes I can vouch for RancidToms work I had my mk3 S10 fettled by him and it was a dream afterwards.

Mate that's outstanding shooting. Thanks for showing me the accuracy of the superfields, I look forward to getting your sample pack in the post. Your a real credit to this forum and airgunning in general buddy. ATB Phil -
Yeah but it makes it worthwhile to be out and about with your rifle and a pocket full of pellets! Only time I don't go shooting is when it's lashing it down! But that's only because I don't want to rust the rifle lol, don't care about myself! Lol
