made a new feeder today designed to stop all the little birds getting all the nuts but i think the gap might be a bit big but i can sort that if that is the case. not the best craftmanship but it does the job as when i had put it up i waited 10 mins and a squirrel came along and started munching straight away.

got up 7 this morning and made my way to the feeder and put a big bunch of peanuts and cornflakes down and waited for two hours and didnt see a single squirrel but ime not giving up ile keep feeding it this week and ile hopefully get one next time

this only the 1st time ive tried it mate so ime still learning my self but i think aslong as you get food down atleast once a day the squirrels will come

i use corn flakes because there only 31p for 500g at tesco and they seem to work but i use other nuts aswell just in case e.g. peanuts or monkey nuts. as for your second quesion i feed them 2 times a day and the foods always gone the next time i go so they dont seem to be disturbed.

made a little squirrel feeder from a flat piece of wood nailed onto a fence post yesterday and place into a nice spot in my local wood. put some monkey nuts and corn flakes on it and checked it this morning and saw a big fat squirrel feeding away on it. so the plans coming together nicely and hopefully if i keep feeding this week, ile be able to set up a hide and get them with my air rifle. ile keep you updated on my mission

i donk know about cree torches but i have an led lenser headtorch and it sure is powerful. i use it for lamping rabbits with terriers (not very successful but good fun) and the beam is very powerfu.l batteries last quite long but i get through a lot.

i could still take it back as i haven't opened it and ive still got the receipt. Take if back mate, there is no need to pay for anti virus, i run 2 comps, with free versions on each, uninstall the one you have, and download and install the one i have suggested, simples, dead easy ye i mite try that. is it easy and safe to download them? To make it as simple as i can for you, just type microsoft anti virus into your browser, its all there. for windows cheers pal
