  1. plenty round here, even my terriers are catching one nearly every time i go out
  2. traps similar to those. nothing in when i checked them this morning but i think i know why. i usually use peanuts which always do the trick but my dad got me monkey nuts instead and the squirrels arent keen on them
  3. well done pal, i set two cage traps for the squirels earlier on today, hopefully i will catch something
  4. i usually use the 7cm version which weighs 9 grams but if i keep getting little trout i put the bigger 9cm version on which weighs 12 grams.
  5. ive used plenty of lures for trout and by far my favourite is the abu garcia tormentor lures.

  7. according to this plonker i met whilst taking my dogs out, his bedlington had caught 6 badgers on the run
  8. just looked on some websites and some courses are over £1000! and theire all down south, doesnt sem to be any courses in north west
  9. ime currently doing A levels at six form which is a big mistake because i cant do them and i only chose to do them because i had no idea what i wanted to do. so ive finally decided i want to be a pest controller. ive done some research on internet about various courses but it isnt that clear, so i was wondering if anyone on here could give me advice. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
  10. Nice fish Bushy, are they wild trout ? Certainly look like wild fish. Bet that big lad pulled your string didn't it ? Ever thought of throwing them a fly old boy ? I'm travelling up north in a couple of weeks chasing sea trout, only the mono fly for me . i think their wild trout. the river that i fish used to be be called the ribena river because of all the factories that used to pump chemicals in it and the water was purple and nothing lived in it. but they cleaned it up 20 years or so years ago and stocked it so i suppose they are wild as they would of been born in the river neve

  15. i dont! Took my two pats out for a quick shine tonight with my headtorch and my dog pat caught his 2nd rabbit with headtorch!
  16. cheers pal, wouldnt mind an 8lb pollock! Read a few things about loch etive and a quarry keeps cropping up not sure where it is but ile give it a try
