Lol funny sods are all different. Mine is unpredictable and sly and too smart for his own good. I often think if he was thick as shite life would be easier but his a thinker and far smarter than his owner lol oh and faster. I have decided people who claim 100% percent success just haven't come across the right dip stick. There is a lot of dogs in this country and if you went through 20 you haven't even scratched the surface. That is what I tell my self any way makes me feel better lol
-
oh you have met my dog too lol
-
every one has to start some where. There is more to the collars than meets the eye as well you don't have to light the dog up lol
-
I would try with out first most dogs are fine. If you handle it right and the dog does not cock up then your good to go, Good luck with it

Trying one of my plots completely no dig for a trial. It is my first year on this one and the normal neck deep weeds. Going well so far and enjoying it. -
remember it like yesterday. Steep slope he threw him self at the rabbit and caught it but tumbled and and dropped it. They both set off and he tumbled again and caught the rabbit as he slide by it on his back lol. That is why it was missing half its leg. Pretty spectacular to see apart the thought of a possible vet bill

This one was a pleasure to lamp and in general but came unstuck one night sadly. Lurcher cross lurcher and god know what was in him but it didn't matter. this one was a pleasure to lamp and in general again. Little beddy whippet who died about 17 years old or there about. Grand little dog and present one well what can I say a shit off a shovel determined as fook and hell bent on self destruction menace lol oh and his a bull cross jobby and he does me bless his cotton socks lol. So just about any thing will do just a matt

Just takes time and consistency but them beers pack a lot of calories
-
Stick at it and go for a run every other day and build up. If you used to run you know the score. I had more chins than a chinese phone book and couldn't jog for two minutes to start but after a couple of years did a fifty miler. Just be consistent and run rain or shine no excuses. Will all ways feel good once you done it. Good luck with it

As I remember it was the first 50 yarder I ran out then i ran out another two so it must been in early and had plenty of time for a munch lol

Love netting you could net some ones lawn and they would be non the wiser if you were inclined Strolling around in the dark with a nice breeze in your face and no lights to alert the quarry Just a great feeling. I spent months knitting this net and first trip out caught edward scissor hands

Never tried a quickset and use a traditional alone. The thought of lugging a basket around doesn't appeal to me

Yea the dip stick should have had my middle daughter for 6 months when she was younger soon change his tune

On the news now some doing gooding idot trying to ban smacking kids. So you can't electrocute your dog you cant clout your kids and to top if off they want to pick up black bags every 4 weeks
-
Bunch of do gooders sticking there oar in. Loads of dogs will be dumped and given up or just have a dam good kicking when they are hanging off a sheep thanks to the do gooders. If your intention is to be cruel you can use the end of your foot if your inclined that way. Best do this if you want to keep them https://consult.defra.gov.uk/animal-health-and-welfare/ban-on-electronic-training-collars-cats-and-dogs/

Nice one Arry holding back my self as its a pain starting early. Only got small window sill -
When this fella was on a scent you could forget but was fine other wise. In an emergency shouting rabbit and legging it in the other direction worked and like busher said all ways have it collared
-
Just some basic recall I guess no distractions to start and all that and maybe a long line to get it into a habit . You will never call it off a scent but if its not after some thing that the time to get the bugger back lol
-
I would forget the electric collar in this instance. Terriers just soak up pain when they are in the zone. Be a shame to dampen its ardour for doing what its bred too do. Just work with it and be on the ball and maybe get some basic training done as well
-
I just don't lol But when I can I find what navek says is good an angle helps. Very hard to get slack sorted in the thick of it any way but it is just a case of slowing things down to help the dog at times The rabbit got out of this and the dog was on a lead because of a road. But the plan was a good one. I left it slack so it would collapse over the rabbit when it hit it. Sort of worked and he was held for a bit

Them wire trays out of fridges used to be good as a kid. 3 staples 2 for the hinge and one for a latch and you had a door
-
On the plus side at least the other dog had a bit of size about it or it could been even worse

Arkwrights Adult Dog Food at £12 a bag and few tins of fish and odd spoon of cod liver oil. He looks fine on but don't do much work because his all ways laid up lol

Beautiful dog and I think we could all do with a friend like you. -
Been meaning to get one next time they show in lidl or aldi. On another note the daughter got me cheap freezer bags from home bargains or some where and the amount of times they have burst when lifting a bag of runners out the freezer. They are like paper who ever made them should be tarred and feathered
