    Thank you bosun and Charlotte is like you say a credit to all terrain she did a fantastic job in that heat as did all involved and strong stuff gear is second to none and i agree with crackers maybe a few more stalls but I can see that happening over the years as the show grows you have a pm bosun

    To be fair crackers I found it a very good well run show with some cracking lurcher s and terrier and gun dogs on show and some top lads to were there bosun strong stuff mwtlc etc

    Going over from what I have heard its a top day out with some very good dogs on show well worth a visit

    I totally agree fred some are born to do it but not all I think a lot also comes down to this number chasing or over matching them just for a bit of bragging rights everyone loves to test there dogs just some over do it and don't know when to call it a night and that goes for experienced lads to

    Because some can't see when enough enough and the dogs had enough regardless of age or entering but they will continue on normally when in company trying to show of normally chasing numbers and when they tire frustration can kick in

    Dc hit the nail on the head as did a few others bad handling I have Seen happen more often when there's another dog involved especially when they take the lead over the other on the run which I think is frustration some can live with it some can't it's up to you at the end of the day

    I have to agree with two crows I watched a bitch run 4 on very heavy black soil on some strong winter hares she killed 3 the way she boxed them in on that ground and kept the pressure on to make those catches i don't think most lurcher s could of done that over those 3 runs that not a chance she was a pleasure to watch work

    As Neil says try the golf course there's some carp in there to but gets busy by the bridge is a good spot or elston lane it's a club water but the farmer is allowed a couple of tickets a day it's right at the bottom

    The pair my Mrs had were very laid back nice temps on both but on the few occasions they switched on they were a handful i remember when she use to run regular one night they both turned to a line of trees still on there leads going mental teeth showing etc her struggling to hold them a bloke with a monican hair cut came out saying something about being lost a few weeks later a young student was sadly raped on the same tow path by someone with the exact same description as him heaven forbid that could of been her if them 2 hadn t of been there
