since having my interest rekindled in Uk native, largely due to this section of THL, i'm finding myself noticing differnt bird songs when out and about, fishing, walking the mutts, outside the pub etc etc. the trouble is, i can't remember / dont know what songs relate to which birds, radio 2 have been doing a little slot on the back of the farming 15 mins a morning, which is good, but i want more knowledge and i havent got the best of memories, things need to be drilled into my Noggin, if you get me. repeat repeat kind of learner. so, with that in mind, can anyone reccomend a good CD of nati

did you use as steel on the blades, igot a block just drop of oil on it get a sharp edge, but it tends to be just 1 side of the knife, but does me ok for what i want.! Allways bird.wet stone maybe once a week, depending on how much cattle we were breaking as that gives theknives a lot of stick, grinder when the blade was getting down to the backbone, but steels allways outthe draw same time as your blade. It doesn't sharpen it as such, just keeps the steel fibres all sitting the same direction. Keeps the blade keen. thanks for that, when on the stone i only get 1 side sharp. i f turn

Not heard of either of them, when I was on the block, it was all victorinox and swibo tools. Both brands will last a lifetime if looked after if the use is non commercial.

That paticular group have had to branch out because they've milked the UK. Most of the money bein scammed appears to be from mugs and the government, not saying its right but, there's bigger scumbags out there doing a lot worse things.

I bought a baitrunner reel by Shakespeare at the weekend, 17£, seems like a well built piece, spare spool, nice smooth drag adjustment, decent gear/ratio. I'd not really heard of the kit for a few yes, seems to be makin a comeback, chinks have probably bought the name and are doing a decent job of making the tackle

thats fair enough, my comment was in jest, no offence intended. i think there are more cons than pro's to the decision though. lots of young stuff about can get hot down there in the summer for your terrier, especially if he's grafting hard, puts a lot of pressure on him from an over heating point of view lots of cover to get through before you even start the dig grounds dry and maybe prone to collapse on the way down but yeah, people do it, especially if they have a paticular fox that they can target that has been causing damage to livestock / game birds i'm no expert, but tha -
true enough, there's folk i know that continue to drink drive and will do untill they are locked up.....still dont make it right in my eyes.

i was visiting my brother this morning and seen lads coursing hares in , Lockrea, Galway. its land i run my dogs on in winter, b*****ds runing dogs this time of year. not on, so its not. we can't all be budding writers, at least the mans making the effort to highlight some pretty shitty form that he's seen, plenty on this site dont bother.
