    working em is the best way to keep em fit, but i believe a dog will come up if it gets frustrated with not getting to the quarry.

    size isnt really height. when to ground a dog tucks its legs in, length of legs isnt a problem. its the size of the dogs chest that matters. put your hands round the back of its front legs and make a cirle with your thumbs touching, if your fingers touch aswell it is ideal for earth work. if you cant, the dog may struggle. when underground size doesnt matter too much because the dog isnt usually on its feet.

    a terrier has much stronger jaw power and more stronger overall, terriers punch above there weight.

    The game bit is the bull, but the dog has to back it up with heart. Terriers dont need bull, if they do, then theyre no good. This section just turnin into a bull x section like the lurcher area of thus site.

    foxes dont have earths, they use rabbit earths or badger setts. depends on the kickout and how long they been running it. sometimes you just cant tell.

    well then bridgh the tube and back fill bridging a tube can f..k the dig up, its pointless as it just fills the tube with sh..t. And can cause the dig to collapse, happen round here not long ago. The quarry will soon dig back through the tube

    this is the weather for the other type dogs . ferreting gets you out, lamping no good though.

    take you time, i believe as a pup lots of attention = a confident dog. dont take it for hours on a walk, as its still growing. as whats been said just play retrieval but dont overdo it and let it get bored or it will refuse to retrieve. be firm and dont let it have too much freedom or she can start to have the ' i cant hear you' issue which is a pain in the arse atb with the pup

    You shouldnt own a dog if you cant control it. Be harsh with it and show your the boss. Dog training classes tend to be no good, ive heard. But its still young. So it can easily be sorted.
