Who really gives a toss except the majority that are more interested in making a name for themselves than enjoying the gallop for what it should be about, testing a dog and enjoying the day regardless of the outcome, or whatever anyone else thinks. Some of these lads now with Coursing bred stock are making the sport more about themselves and their cudos, plus bank balance, than the real issue,a days sport and hopefully something in the bag and not dumped in a ditch as a

  3. Thing that annoys me the most is when your training ur dog not to jump up, and someone starts to fuss over the dog and lets it jump up. Really pisses me off.

  8. Ok, ive looked n asked, but looks like collie x litters arent too common. So does anyone have any info or experience with a pup out of one of hancocks straight border studs, to make a 1stx. 11. Im interested in a collie cross, i run a straight whippet at the mo, so im lookin for a less sighthound saturated cross. I run smallish field, mainly on the lamp, mainly rabbits, would like it to take teeth once in a while and the odd big rabbit. Which cross is more likely and does a job better on teeth, and what would suit me, 1stx or 3/4. ATB Rob
  12. saluki x because they're useless in my area.
  13. but definitely not an allrounder, far from. rabbits is as far as it goes, n the odd big one.

  18. tbh i think the sport has always had dicks in it. it just more publicized nowadays.
  19. whippet grey, should tackle anything, and lightening fast.
  20. that, but a bit of saluki i can see too, imo.
  21. Wouldnt benefit from one in my area, too many tight spots. N they got big shits no need to introduce bull as its already in the breeding and a good strain shouldnt lack gameness, would be pointless carrying it on if so.
