  1. Two new belts and the old one. One of the belts is a Pheasant belt with brass loop.
  2. A running dog needs to run free from 10 weeks old and learn to gallop. It is different to almost any other dog breed in that respect, the free running can never be replaced later. It is more important than good food if push comes to shuv. Its not the break thats the problem really but the timing of it.

  7. Sorry Ive only just seen this, and thanks Ive bought one now in .177 but have sent it off for tuning with Nck Gibney from Coventry. Who did yours if you dont mind me asking or did you put a kit in yourself?

  11. I have heat lamps over beds, so they are always warmed up and dry before sleep in winter. I have used coats on Greyhounds and whippets whilst road working but only in very cold weather. Some people use kennel coats instead of heating.

  16. Yes there was, but there was also some good ones. They dont need to be Champions but offensive as you know yourself because they are going to be watered with Greyhound blood which doesnt always work. So starting with a line bred 1st cross that retains minerals/drive etc gives a good start if close bred and tested and weeded.
  17. Thanks mate, not too bad but have to make sure you got a nice polished awl and plenty of thread. I do skive some off centre piece both sides and the outer bits but not much. Its at least 10mm thick.
  18. Have you bred litters yourself? I know there are always people on here giving their opinion on how much dogs should be sold for, but have never bred a litter and never intend to, but they still think they should dictate the price which of course they can to an extent because they are the market. That is if they are buying from peddlers who are producing dogs mainly to sell. If you came to me for a pup and said anything about price, the phone would go down, because a man whos first thought is money will never appreciate the breeding and hard work gone into proper breeding.
