    maize in my feeder is going but Im not seeing squirrels. Birds cant get it because of a wire door and I dont think its mice because theres no droppings. Is time of day crucial?

    Ive just had a Ratworks job on mine and I must say, the lighter cylinder makes the gun a lot lighter or maybe just better to handle.

    The cloddy ones arnt worth anything, but thats down to poor breeding/selection. Many of these types are infected with Mastiff or Bulldog or some crap. Im talking about the real thing that has everything.

    A Bull cross imo should be at least Half Bull in its breeding. Anything less and its just a lurcher with some Bull.

    Is it only for identifying cross breeds? So if you tested a breed that is breeding true it should be 100% that breed and not show any evidence of the breeds that went to make it up? It would be interesting to test a lot of KC stuff if thats the case.

    Was it Steve Allan on youtube? I bought a 10x40 and its brilliant for hunting. Straight onto to target with scope right uptp your eye.

    Christened my TX200 .177 with 10 rats friday night. All head shots around 20yds. Its been tuned and shoots lovely. I do have a bit of a problem loading due to a dodgey thumb though. I dont think I would be able to do that with a .25 but maybe in better hands? Its a hard hitting pellet though, I had a FAC years ago (pcp)

    Black bridle split down to 1.5mm with a Pigskin lining for comfort. I used the old buckle. Hopefully the hand stitching should last longer than the machine stitching on the original strap.

    That shouldnt be what its all about. It should be about the dogs, and not ego boosting. People who say they dont want permission are without exception liars in my opinion. Getting permission and being able to concentrate on the dogs and not looking over your shoulder all the time is part of being dedicated to the sport and the dogs. Trouble is it takes determination which many expect in their dogs but lack it themselves.

    I was watching some WW1 footage on telly that had been given colour, it was amazing how it suddenly made it real and you could relate more to the men and stop seeing them like black n white beings from another planet. Great thread?
