    Why worry about everyone else, have what you want for yourself and if your single dog breaks his neck chasing a rabbit one night youve got a good excuse to pack it in altogether, but if its your passion you will normally have a pup or two about in different stages of development and maybe a bitch in season and another worker with a sore wrist to rest for a proper amount of time so you will have another ready to go, because not going out with dogs all winter isnt really an option for you. If your very keen that is.

    last bitch we mated, we had given up cos old dog was struggling with old injuries, but dog managed it on his own on day 28. We didnt expect anything but got 6 pups. The bitch only comes in once a year and it tends to hang on.

    A lot of good Bulls are racey but its whats in the brainbox that counts. There are much much less good bulls about now, thats why its important not to outcross the goodstuff to extinction.

    More with the Bullx because of the extra drive. When it comes to it theyre not as game as a good half cross usually. You can catch a lot of stuff but we never got a full season out of a 3/4. You need at least 4 or 5 runners. To be fair most are not conditioned enough, you need to handle them like a Greyhound. I think half cross is better than 3/4 in all lurchers really, just avoid the cloddy ones with Bullx and avoid flat feet. Thats what I think

    Good ol Len,One Sunday morning, a lad round here was bragging to his mate that hed just bought this coursing dog from Len and it was sired by a Waterloo cup winner, and Len had got the proof! When the lad let it out of the van it ran straight over to his mate wagging its tail and doing circles. His mate started laughing and said "thats funny cos I only sold it to Len last Friday, its a shitter" I went to Lens place and bought a coursing dog. He had about 25 saplings running around like wild sheep, I picked one out (All Paul Sagar bred of course) but settled for the one we managed to cat

    This is a good one for injured toes or anywhere where a callous forms. I found it doesnt really work on old callouses though. Use a tooth brush to work it in. Sorry about the picture on its side, bit awkward to read.

    Rubbing down with curacco or similar can only do good mate, especially after hard exercise. Go with the muscles and you will feel warmth from the friction of your hands, or get an electric massager, but dont be afraid to use a bit of pressure, Its good for skin and coat too and you'll get to notice things that you wouldnt normally. get some clippers and learn to trim nails aswell or use a dremel. One of the biggest causes of injury to toes is long nails. If you trim regularly the quick will recede back. atb

    Thats why yours need the best feet, they take that f****n long to catch anything, and then its only veggies they catch hold of...?

    All you need do is have it frozen, then put in a bucket with a lid to thaw overnight or even in the morning on very hot days. I sometimes give a dog a frozen squirrel or rabbit in very hot weather like a lollypop,they love that.

    Well because its sold for the industry its levels are supposed to be guaranteed when leaving the factory, where as just working dog does not. Ive found it fine and not likely to give a lot of shit, but then we feed mostly beef raw, and add our own things like brewers yeast, codliver oil, eggs, dried garlic etc. Ive fed eukanuba to pups and I know its good, but I dont think you can beat beef really.
