done a 4 night stint with a mate first night i had a 28ib common with a distintive wound on its tail,mate caught the same fish 2 nights after me in the next swim. local lake to me got lot named fish which are all caught regularly throughout the year,guess thats why tactics are for ever changing to fool the wariest of fish,maybe lol

i was big into the scene late 70s early 80s,to young for the first time round and been to a lot large venues and seen them all, good times in my youth,wrecked a lot Ben sherman shirts,lost a lot blood and snot and had more stitches than i care to remember, nice to get bit older and bimble down to a small trouble free venue which they all seem to be now days which is good -
had a night out last week up at stamford bridge stadium,first on was a young up coming ska band doing a good set followed by good old Neville Staple,the original rude boy (SPECIALS) and ended the night with Dandy Livingstone,he only 72 year old i thought the roof was coming off when he done message to you rudy. only holds 550 in the venue but feck me it was a banging night,good to see a young band with their own take on the two tone ska scene,as well as a couple of old favourites. got bad manners to look forward to again lol,middle june on a scooter rally in kent. bit special these

Always used 15ib big game,had lot problems with other lines some would regularly snap when doing knotless knots on my rigs,nothing worse than not having faith in your set up lol

I've never heard of intrusive thoughts gaz.whats that all about. Involuntary thoughts that you shouldn't be having King mate. Used to get them bad when was going through trouble with my ex and not seeing my little girl for a few months. I'm pretty chilled and content now and get them far less frequent. Weird shit I won't get into on here. Not suicidal thoughts at all. Just your mind telling you to do something you shouldn't just for a split second then it goes. just shows we should all perhaps just reflect at times about life/reality and remember this internet shite should be nothing

when i was a kid there was a bloke in the gun club whos lab wouldnt go in after a shot duck,it just winged and stood on the bank,later that day we were crossing over a canal along a field drainage pipe and my old man gave the dog a nudge straight off the pipe into the middle of the canal,guess he thought kill or cure and do the owner a favour lol. dog swam about for few minutes after surfacing lol,and ran up the bank,later that day launched itself into the canal to pick another shot duck never hesitated again. this isnt something id advise obviously.
