  10. back in the early 90s i had permission on a golf course but opposite was couple decent size fields i used to have a quick shine from the gate see if i could get the odd run. one particular night lamp on and charlie was right out in front of me within couple squeaks he came running in and i slipped the dog, this field was flat as a pancake but the field joining it ran all the way up hill and over the horizon,so anyway the dog puts a few turns in and makes a catch so off with the lamp and i start walking out to him, well seemed it was a bit further than i thought and as i got to the dog i real
  11. i love it when the bushers start kicking off mine yip and yap when on hot scent soon as something is sighted though feck me all hell breaks loose gets the old ticker going, couple days ago a munty bolted straight at me if i wasnt on the ball reckon id have been leveled flat i really should stand back a bit at times lol

  15. never knew gutting a rabbit could be so complicated lol,you got listen to the lads on here that catch shit loads, craft knife
  16. found nice bit rough ground dont catch many though tough for the lurcher to get a run although the odd ones always a bonus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJyQW6CAqzk
  17. I always found the ones that literally fit the palm of your hand easier to use,lot steadier consistent power and accuracy, good making your own fair play you got plenty of them but I'd be cutting 2/3 off them lol
  18. out the few iv seen work over the years the ones that stood out all had good amount of saluki in the mix
  19. a decent lurcher brought up working along side the bushers wont care what side hedge your on as inevitably your going to be the wrong side lol
  20. type of cover i work a lurcher is not getting in and for me would be waste of time even if it could or did, couple decent bushers to keep the pressure on,get stuck in no matter what they facing types forcing a bolt with a lurcher that knows exactly how to work with them, reading the action and positioning it self correctly to achieve a result even if that means quarry bolting from the other side of cover. a decent lurcher aint gonna need no terrier to help it out thats for sure, its down to you what you can keep to achieve best results for me two bushers and a lurcher is working well another
  21. used to a lot in the early days it was hastle to be honest not something I'd need or bother with now
