  2. what if your dog does not pull well on the lead how will this then help.. i would hope most would also train there dog not to pul welll on the lead thats one of the first things i try to stop well walking my dog on a lead..atb have you seen how old the book is? it refers to old training methods of where 1 guy would walk infront of the dogs with a 'rag' hanging out his arse pocket. the dogs (being keen) woukd oull and strain to get to the rag. like a bodybuilder pulling a car. thats the idea. ofcourse techniques change and methods evolve as does technology. but t
  3. same as i use. nice a compact for slipping in your pocket
  4. maybe im not grasping the problem here....... but, you could put holes in a leather collar so it would be tight as feck on your thumbs. you could put them where you wanted and as tight as you wanted? only thing i could think of stopping you doing that is thr position of the receiver on the collar? or have i missed something?
  5. ye cant be meaning this fat lab x? surely not :feck:
  6. fat lab x? youve got a bloody cheek. im surprised that dog of yours can fit its arse through the kennel door
  7. wouldnt reccomend putting a harness on a working ferret. too many things to snag on below ground.
  8. like has already been said, it was designed when dogs where encouraged to pull on the lead to build muscle growth in their back legs. the book was 'of pedigree unknown by phil drabble'. great book BTW.
  9. after id been abd looked at it multiple times when she marked it. she had enough and decided shed give being the ferret a go
  10. cheers for that nige. better than them hairy mongrels you keep northernshite baldy, has that fat bull x seen a hare? or a live rabbit for that matter? bet its seen plenty of lamp-shot ones though. needs a diet FFS
  11. put a bid in. its helping ickle fewwets
  12. i would take it to the vets if its still sore in the morning. youngsters bones are so soft that they can break easily. im talking from experience. vet diagnosed a sprain, next day still sore and was confirmed fracture. dont take risks with young uns, this is the most important part of their growth
  13. all the same, id like to spend a little time with them before i took them out. not just-chuck em in the hutch and chuck em down the hole the next day. if he has to dig to them then he might end up with a ferret hanging off his finger.
  14. how old are they? shouldnt you be spending some time with them before you take them out? you wouldnt take a dog lamping without bonding with it first
  15. i also see they have had a professional photographer to take the photos
