  1. Then maybe you shoukd read the first 4 pages and realise its not about dogs that cant jump. Its about owners than dont want their dogs to jump. Anybody can hold a pen. Doesnt make them a writer.
  2. Doubt what you said about a lurcher not being a lurcher if it doesnt jump. It isnt a lurcher if it didnt run. I get what your saying though.
  3. so if a terrier doesnt go to ground.....is it not a terrier?
  4. Oooh we all sticking piccies up now are we
  5. My whippet jump fine....when she want to.... but id rather she didnt. Ill just sling her under my arm and gently step over the dangerous fence and put her down minding not to hurt her paws My lurcher jumps 100% and as said before...a pain at times. My lab x also jumps..... But an eye opener to me was when she clipped the top bar of a 5 bar gate and was hanging over the gate by her leg Screaming. Lucky i was only 20 yards away an no harm done. Now if that was my lurcher going at speed and 250+ yards away across a wet boggy field....its a completely different outcome. A
  6. no i got the pup at 11 week old and had him for about 4 month befor i got rid Whos fault is that then? 11 week pups are what you make them! 2 dogs out the same litter bit ppl And 2 dogs out the same litter may have the shiits, but doesnt mean its the breeders fault. Ye had the dog from a pup until at 7 months (im presuming)it bit your son. The 5 months you had the dog id say it was your error and not the breeding of the dog. Ye could have got it to dance in that space of time! And then passing it on instead of working with it. Id say it was your fault!
  7. I disagree! If it wont jump a fence with you then lift the f****n thing over. I personally dont want my dog jump but she does. Jump all the time and it a fcuking nightmare. Many times my dogs jumped a fence and comes over it hundreds of yards down the field. My whippet could have lost her eye if the fence would have hit her 10mm to the side. Fecking worrying if your lamping next to a main road and the rabbit dives under the fence! Jumpings a bonus but not a necessity and at times more of a hindrence than a help.

  9. Bump Great wee quad for a reasonable price considering condition and age (almost new).
  10. that lad was ME and its was a nasty twat and you sent me no pms the dog was lucky that i GAVE it away to some one with no kids and never took it for a long walk,in the end it bit its new owner so ended up taking a long walk after all.same as the pup mogy rock had off you ended up biting a jogger in a park Was the pup only 11 weeks old when ye gave it away because it was a 'nasty twat'?
  11. My whippet broke both her back legs as a pup but shes fine and catching now. I hold my breath, close my eyes, cross my fingers and tie my foreskin everytime i slip her.
  12. thanks for the comments. there was a heavy downpour for about 30 minutes and then it stopped. still left 4 inches or so worth of snow and good fun for the dogs on the golf course.
  13. Was loads here but its melting now!
  14. 7 weeks. 10months. 8 weeks. 12 months.(now 18 months)
  15. Its handy to have there as when you take your catty youve got ammo always handy. Its got a lanyard on it so you can hang it round your ball sack if you wish
  16. this is an airgun pellet pouch. Its a really nice design and unusual. Good shape for your pocket, round your neck etc. I attached it to the lanyard on my catty. Fill it with ammo and your away It adds a little bit of weight depending how much ammo you put in it but after a couple of shots i got used to it and it was as if it wasnt there.
  17. I like trying my hand at various types. Ill do a few natural. Then try some board cut and then back to natural etc. I just enjoy making something out of nothing, whether that be a natural fork or a nice piece of wood Hooefully have a dremmel soon and then theres no stopping me
  18. for ferrets seriously, no harm in it being used as a 'now and then' kennel for a terrier for example when wet after a walk.
  19. I dont have a chrono mate but they have some power behind them. The draw is hard and you cant hold it for too long. The 9.5mm lead i use goes at some speed. Wish i could chrono it to see what its putting out.
