  2. haribo and smoked sausages are a winner. some nice noodles and sauces. orange/mint hot chocolate sachets and that 'bombay mix' savoury mix. the things you take for granted at home is whats the best gifts to send. doesnt have to be a top brand.   4. gave a jill away to a lady whos house was dedicated to her ferrets. every room was ferret heaven, pipes, hammocks, toys. she had a HUGE wardrobe upstairs converted into a cage but they slept in the drawer in the bedside table. she had a catflap with a tube attached. went out into the garden and into an outside pen. they done whatever they wanted and must admit i handed the pet jill over straight away as i knew it was ferret heaven. she had soent some amount of money on transforming the house. she had ferret urns on the mantlepiece. and the cherry on the cake- a pram convert
  5. theres plenty of animal trusts that are great. canine protection cats protection league ferret rescues horse sanctuaries bird rescues dogs trust (great organisation who dont put a healthy dog down!) theres a rescue/sanctuary for EVERY one of the animals that might need help. all you have to do is google it and you will find one. most ate willing to travel up/down the country to help. then ofcourse there is the breed rescues (gsd scotland/ scruples whippet rescues/ boxer rescue and so on....) the problem is the rspca/sspca are the most well know so joe public think of

  10. got an o'tom tick remover for a fiver at a fair. seen the damage these ticks can do and wifes uncle contracted lymes desease from a tick! use this remover only once but its in the tool box should i need it. then im safe in the knowledge ive removed it correctly. heres the tick remover on the BADA website. 5.50 posted for peace of mind http://www.bada-uk.org/products/tick_products.php

  18. ive got a samsung Tab2 so once ive wrestled the dogs for the wrapping paper, seen my dads delight at a midnight knife he will think was a pound shop number, had the wee man out on his quad that ive already broke twice and get earache when the wife realises that her yorkshire pudding and brussel sprouts are in with the frozen rabbits...... ill be on here
