  3. If someone could post up any more info and a bit more of a review I would be grateful. £35 is a lot of money at the moment and I really dont want to be dissapointed by blowing my whole budget on something that I wont enjoy and will never pick up again. Cheers fellas. Pat PS, I am happy to do a book swap as I have a fair view working dog books.
  4. I am having a few days off as I have been training my balls off recently and I need a bit of extra recovery time. How dare you give someone else your sausage, You are a filthy sl*t. Listen mate, if you are up my way (no pun intended) let me know as I have the last years worth of EDRD for you. Pat
  5. I know M O K personally as I took him on his first ferreting trip which he got stuck into and had no qualms about getting his hands dirty. So to answer your questions, sarcastic, definitely, anti though, not a chance, I have seen evidence to the contrary first hand! Yes he is green around the gils in some areas but he has made a real effort and commitment to the lifestyle and has excellent knowledge in other areas such as butchery, stock rearing and veggie growing. As for being a "Gaylord", the jury is still out on that one. ps, where are my bangers! lol. Pat
  6. How did you guess? The man is a walking time bomb! This is just the latest in a long list of sauce related incidents. And yes I will cut him a break as he is also not feeling tickety boo either at the moment. But only for a couple of weeks then it is business as usual. As for the lad, I have a feeling when the smoke clears and all that he will vanish amongst his fathers side of the family, though I am sure the father will do an excellent job. Cheers Pat
  7. I just wanted to let you guys know that sent me messages of support and who have had dealings with me that my 26 year old Sister finally succumbed to her illness late last night. As you can imagine we are all devastated and just grieving at the moment although we always knew the outcome. I am very proud of her as I have never seen such dignity, strength and courage in the face of adversity, I am feeling very proud amongst a million other feelings at this moment in time. I wish I had handled myself in the same fashion instead of acting like a complete asshole! lol. She is survived by her 3 ye
  8. I just got my copy of the new James Bond novel "Solo", anyone else read it or part way through? Let me know your thoughts as the critics are saying it is as good as a Fleming Bond Novel Pat
  9. Do not go out with this man he is a reprobate and a recovering drug addict who wont stop going on about his Methadone. ! Sorry mate, couldn't resist. lol. Man O Kent has been out with me and has been excellent company although like me his sense of humour leaves a lot to be desired. Pat
  10. It looks like I am a long way from you by the look of it, I am in Medway, Kent which is the other end of the Country. Pat
  11. Thanks gents, not looking for sympathy as I have been through all that stage a long while ago. lol. Just want to get on with things but the sort of stuff going on hangs around for a long time and just ends up wearing you down mentally. I know there is a lot of bickering and bitching etc on this site but when push comes to shove and when you are up against it with life's challenges the fellas on here never cease to surprise me with good intentions and kind words. Thanks Guys
  12. Guys, I have let the bulk of my ferrets go today and have a couple of 3 month old hobs left, I really need to get these lads rehomed asap, http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/301913-last-two-hobs/?p=3373305. I wont go into the fine details but as some of you know I have been told to stop taking on so much, cut back on what I am already doing and stop spreading myself so thin. The reason behind this is that I have been taken pretty ill twice in the last three years with stress and over exertion seeming to be a major factor, so a more simple, less taxing life is advised before there is
  13. I thought I would post up a couple of photos of the last of my ferrets. Been a really sad day seeing the majority of them go but sometimes you have to listen to advice from Doctors, Wife, Family and friends and bite the bullet before its to late. Just need these boys gone as I need a clean break from it all before I end up ill again (apparently). Thanks gents, appreciate all the advice and support received from a couple of members. Pat
  14. I am down in Chatham, Kent. Just off the M20 or M2 Pat
  15. Guys, I have two hobs left that desperately need new homes. They are from solid working stock and are a couple of handsome fellas. One largish boy, typical old fashioned liner type only just over 3 months but looks like he will work already! The second one is a smaller grey lad who has lost the tip of his tail as a baby, not that you would ever notice it, again he looks like he wants to work already. Well handled and well fed, they need some new homes asap. Not asking any money just somewhere they can have the life they were bred for. Pat
  16. Ladies and Gents, I really need to get this hutch gone so I will take £ just to make some room. Pat
  17. Jamie, I have PMed you as I have plenty of options for you, give me a call mate as I have changed phone and lost your number. Pat
  18. Thanks gents, yes it really is a solid piece of kit. Thought it would have sold asap. I really need the room! Pat
  19. I purchased this Hutch at the start of the summer but no longer have any use for it as I am getting out of ferreting due to Docs orders to cut back and not take on to much. It was custom made for the previous owner by a chippie to house his rabbits. It is three separate hutches but could easily be converted to a three story single hutch. All in great condition except that the bottom hutch has a couple of layers of the ply floor scratched up by the previous owners rabbits, this has not affected keeping the stinkers in it at all. All of the hinges and bolts are heavy duty in keeping with the o
  20. I have for sale my Deben M3M ferret finder, two collars and 16 quality tried and tested nets of varying shapes and sizes. I will even include a spare pack of collar batteries. I am looking for £120 including postage by paypal or cash on collection, I am based in Medway, Kent. Thanks Pat
  21. Anything that makes me proud to be British. oh and Liverpool winning the Premiership this season.
  22. Christmas. Scent and sight of a Rose. Two stroke engine smell. Hooking in to a big fish. Rain hammering down when I am warm and comfy in bed. Feeling smug after a workout. Fresh coffee. Running dog at top speed. Malts list. (see above) My kids...........when they are asleep.
  23. Ok so its a bike but I did the Car thing. I had MK4 Golf, Saxo VTR that was on 18's and slammed so low that the screen washer bottle had to be removed from the engine bay! I had a lovely new SEAT Ibiza TDI with a body kit from Germany and debadged, it was beautiful until I dropped it off a high curb and made a massive hole in the floor. There must be another several at least that I wont mention including a Manta GTE (ahem). Now I have three kids instead, the Triumph went when we found out we no.3 was on his way!!!!! These days I get to ride a push bike as a substitute. lol.
  24. I just have the two normal size, very pale poley hobs left.
