    Your Kids.

    My family were the same no hugs, kisses or anything, made sure my kids got all the love and affection they could handle, even when i got divorced from their mother. I still kiss them now and they are all in their thirties, and long may it continue.
  3. I had the same thing last year mate. little buggers had been through the lot. If you need a net i now have three so you can borrow one of those.

  5. Forgot to mention, there is a beautiful beach about a mile away so if anyone fancies bringing their speedos feel free, lol.
  6. The fishing is free dave but im not sure about the camping. I have yet to confirm with martin about this. It wont be much though. There are shops nearby,a pub just up the road, a tesco two minutes drive away, there is no running water on site but i can fetch a container of water for drinks etc. if anyone requires a shower we can nip down to one of the local campsites where a shower is 20p for about three minutes or you can nip up to mine I am going to try and fetch a generator and set up some lighting.There is a lidl not too far away if you want to do a big shop.Padstow is a couple o
  7. Doesnt really matter when you let me know as we have full use of the lakes as such.Just let me know as soon as you can mate. If we do get too many fishing to fit us all on the small lake we can overspill onto the big lake.
  8. I wasnt practising walshie honest .I was merely checking out the venue so that i could pass on information to anyone who wants it.
  9. were that close to the lake people will have to leave there tent flaps open so we can ship our poles back into them .The toilet does work but it is fed from a water barrel out the back so i will have to keep filling it up.   10. No ken thats where i live mate.. its about 1mile from here.Its called the alps fishery. The venue is just outside st. merryn village in the bottom of a valley.

Me and dytkos went and had a few hours at the venue on thursday,only for research purposes obviously,not to practice.Had a good net of fish some lovely rudd and roach a couple of carp and a couple of cracking roach/ bream hybrids. If any of you serious anglers want any information about what depth rigs etc.to set up i will put as much as i can on a post for you to set some rigs up.

  14. When we were kids we used to slope a milk bottle up onto a house brick. Spread butter or margerine around the inside of the neck of the bottle and drop a couple of pieces of bread down into the bottle. Used to catch loads like that. If you ever got two shrews in one though it was curtains for one of them. They would even eat each other.

  16. The potters down here use salted fish for the lobsters and fresh fish frames for the crabs. Some nice beaches up near arisaig area you can pitch up on. Only at the side of the road and nobody ever on them.

  19. fooking hell dont you start ive enough with the wife nagging me to do it i will do it if it ever stays dry for three days on the trot,honest, or will i just go fishing as usual. As for who threw it , i think its the trees revenge as i have been cutting them down bit by bit. There were only two large branches left, now theres only one and a stump
