  1. You can chuck as much money as you like into buying a well bred dog mate but it don’t mean it will make the grade and be worthy of breeding from.
  2. Perhaps so, a pigmy maybe. I am still leaning towards a young male muntjac
  3. If I was to take a guess which I am, I would say muntjac
  4. If that’s not a Fray bentos pie then I agree??
  5. Fcuk me king that was 7 years ago. Did he put the frightners up you or something with that post ?
  6. They got some nice colour to them when you get close upto them. My uncle had a pet starling as well, the one afternoon his son left his phone on the side by the cage and by the time he got there to pick it up later that day the bird had already copied the ringing tone.
  7. We've had 4 or 5 bbq this year all ready, nothing too fancy just a few sausage and burgers for the kids. I love my bbq even though it's gas. We are lucky enough to have full evening sun on the back garden also so it all works out a treat.
  8. My misses is flat out at work so I am at home with the 3 kids which I don’t usually mind but it’s hard work as we are not able to get out and break the day up. I am really enjoying the evenings though I think it’s been real quality time as we take the dogs out as a family unit for a hour and a half to 2 hours the route takes. The kids are learning a bit about nature and seeing stuff they probably wouldn’t usually get to see so much.
  9. I like the look of the pup in bottom pic
  10. I was just about to start a fresh thread about this, mines gone all to fcuk again error code at times running very slow at other times.
  11. That’s what I was wondering chid. It was about the same size as the smaller dragonfly. It was in the river a fare way also.
  12. On the daily walk with the kids and this was under the first rock I turned over in the river. Best pics I've got
  13. Couple more pics from me Same route with the kids.
  14. This will be good if it happens.
  15. My usual walk with kids. Extended it a field tonight. The extra field I thought what a nice spot to live. Great during bbq weather
  16. It was nice to see this little fella out and about and looking busy Shame about the plastic bag being there though.
  17. Craven arms, it’s the river onny flows where I walk. Then it meats the river teme just down the road between here and Ludlow
  18. Shropshire England mate.
  19. Yesterday's walk with the kids. Found this about 30yrds from the river. Don't know what's done it but I see 3 there everyday except for yesterday. The remains of this duck was with it.
  20. Thanks greyman, I will see what I can find to stick one on with. You can get them cheap enough I see.
  21. I've had the same problem again. Only just been able to get back on since yesterday tea time. It's says too many people using the site error 500. There must be a load of guests then because there never seems to be alot of members on at once. I remember when I first joined there would regularly be 4 0r 500 folk on at once on a weekend.
  22. I've got no where to fix a false swallows nest to my house as it's got about a 8" thick of insulation around it with a chipping coating. I wouldn't be able to get a screw long enough. It's a old concrete house built as a temp in 1940 by the army I believe. I've built a blue got box out of dome old ply since yesterday though.
  23. I always loved my winters for my hunting trips but the last couple of seasons me old mind sets changed a bit, I now look forward to the spring/summer days. There’s been a pair of house martins/swallows trying to build a nest by our bedroom window last summer which they have got no where near finishing. I am hoping they will be back this summer it’s. Had a pair of blue tits nest in a bird box on the neighbours side the fence post just 12ft from our back door it was a pleasure to watch them feeding the chicks, what a busy pair of parents they were. The neighbour said there was 6 chicks in the
