  1. nice one. young bradas will pay abit more attention next time and might hold onto the rabbit. he will soon get fed up of digging to the ones hes droped.
  2. i had a lurcher to lurcher bred dog when i was 15/16. brought him in as a adult dog for £30 of a bloke who had run out of money in the pub. never again
  3. look on the bright side bird at least it was a decent retrieve .
  4. i had one she was something like 3/4 grey 1/4 collie over a lab bitch, and was a great bitch day and night with both fur and feather.
  5. And depends upon the levels of work. For a local look out here, for whatever i would not feed in the morning. But for the bigger nights out where you expect many runs i do give an extra feed. You can see the difference i always feed my dogs as though they were going to have a hard night every time, as you can never be to sure whats going to be out in some places. well round my area. I also forgot to mention the top Dog of the Day"man of the match award" was John for pulling that rabbit out without even having to put the ferret in on that hole Bryn marked up..that was class. LOL. who needs ferrets with John about. i was about to lay the net and i saw the little bugger buy the hole so i had to grab him. lol

  9. i always feed my dog at least 5 hours before going out and then feed them again when i get home.
  10. cheers lads anytime. i certainly had a nice enjoyable day with no stress what so ever. it was a pleasant change for me to be out hunting without my dogs i felt a bit lost without them at times but still had a great day. bird i will give bryn top marks for his performance through the whole of the day. he was spot on you couldnt have asked for more from the dog. vin its a shame mollie was having a off day as everytime ive seen her mark a warren shes been spot on.

  16. ive been out with the dogs and a catty with a couple of lads on a few occasions its been good sport. i will say ive never hit a thing, but ive seen some great shots by the lads ive been out with. its enjoyable watching the lurchers working round the cover when the terriers are in.
  17. How is this dog turned out then............ hes only 10 months old at the moement hes doing o.k.
