  5. fasted dog in guinness book of records is actually a saluki i have read that the saluki is the fastest dog after around 1000 yards. whippets the fastest upto 100yds then the greyhound upto a 1000 or so yards then the saluki takes over.
  6. as you say about 50 when you got to it. you would have needed to travel faster than the animal to get to it.
  7. good luck with your pup that 1 we saw was (dutch sheperd) was a cracker, built like a feckin tank lol very strong dogs .? i remember it. it was a smart looking animal.
  8. my thoughts exactly simo In some cases yes for certain types of dog maybe. But the point that is being made i think is...keeping the litter tight and straight..no pups throwing too much of bull or collie etc etc..when all he wants is a GSD X Good running dog..not a GSD X Lurcher that could go iether way with what the pups might throw to from the parentage. If he keeps it simple he know what he,s gonna get more or less...if you complicate the mix with percentages of other dogs etc etc..he might not get what he wants. Why take any chances ? surely that would be a better outcross for
  9. yes you can. I am fairly sure all vets can do them, from what i can gather theres a lot of paper work involved in doing them. so most vets just say they cant do them
  10. i was talking to a lad the other day and he reckons there has been koi and common carp caught in the local stretch of river in the last 12 months.
  11. she should be going to Maxhardcore kennels ( Razzmatazz) very good dog brother to (England Expects) Top proven greyhounds imo Razzmatazz is as good a choice as any i am pretty sure i have read England Expects record on this forum some where and hes also a good dog so the breeding appears to be good.
  12. if you just put a picture of your dog/pup usally the first one or two replies goes, nice dog/pup hows it bred so i reckon thats why people do it.

  21. my pup got stung by a bee last summer his head swelled to almost twice the size he was lay on the patio blowing bubbles from his nose. i rushed him to the vets and they gave him a injection straight into the vein and i had to wait there almost a hour to see if the swelling stopped. thank god it did, thought i was going to lose him. it still took 5 hours for the swelling to go down but he has been fine since. hes been stung again since and only had a very small swell around the actual sting site.
