  1. very true that mate. ive had some work done by them myself.
  2. atb with the pup mate hope she does well for you. looks a nice bitch.
  3. what are they like for weight? they look a tad bulky with the extra square piece on the top. how much are replacement bulbs mate.
  4. fairplay the pups and there home looks in top fettle
  5. aaccording to lightforce a 35v hid is 6 x better clarity than a 100w halogen bulb!!! uses much less power as well!! ive got a 30watt bulb in a lance lamp which uses little power and i can see more than i can catch with that of a night. perhaps i might change my mind if i tried one but at that money it wont be anytime soon.
  6. never herd of them until now, just had a quick look on google for them. ive just seen a lightforce striker HID lamp forsale at £249.99 thats a lot of dosh if you ask me. i cant possible see what they could do any better than a normal striker to justify charging that much more. it will be interesting to see what the feedbacks like on them.
  7. imo you will be lucky if she makes 23tts. by the time shes hit 6 and a half months she would have done most her growing
  8. it certainly is a shame that moll has gone from the site as has already been said her posts and pictures were always good to read and look at. never met her but spoke to her once on the phone and she seemed a real nice genuine person which is hard to find on here.
  9. i had a lurcher bitch out of a 28tts saluki/greyhound X 20tts lurcher. there was three pups in the litter 2 dogs and my bitch the dogs turned out 28tts and my bitch turned out 21.5tts
  10. havent started many threads latley so i thought i would put a few pics up of todays walk. had a visit from bird today and had the first mooch out for a while. it was a nice day and the dogs enjoyed there selves. got a couple of marks from rays dog bryn which hopefully means a decent days ferreting trip later this year. we had a steady walk for about 6 miles or so. first pics a bit blurred sorry. thanks for looking.
  11. be interesting to see how there going to repair it if its still a live set my moneys on them just killing them and not saying anything about it. then carrying on with the repairs.
  12. i am just starting my 3rd year with my 14amp lithium and its still going strong. never had it go flat on me yet but i only use a 30watt bulb in a lance lamp. theres only one problem with them and thats the conector plug into the battery is a bit slack and needs a bit of tape round it each time i go out, having said that i wouldnt go back to the dry cell batteries.
  13. why bull X boys, i am sure there is other dogs out there which will get killed just as easy trying to tackle it
  14. well done vin lad keep at them, nice little practice warren that for the young un.
  15. nice looking pups. looks a fairly even size litter aswell
  16. imo aigle parcours iso are a decent wellie good thick rubber and a plenty of neoprene. ive had mine 2 seasons now and they are still going strong, i brought a pair of le chameaus after someone told me they were the best wellies going and once you have owned a pair you wouldnt have any other brand. they lasted me 6 months they ripped easy. my aigles have stood the test of time well and are the secound pair i have owned, and both pairs have lastet equally aswell.
  17. it all depends where they have been kept and well looked after they have been. no hard and fast rules sum batteries are better than others thats just the way it is i am afraid mate.
  18. thanks mochara. i will have a look in the terrier section. thats part of the forum i dont use
  19. Always get one!!!!!!!!!! You dont think the slugs can get in the bowel after it has been changed???? Or don't you make sure your dog has access to water all the time. I get the same problem. I scatter salt around it every now and then. well its hardly rocket science is it????? pick them up after you feed the dogs and it keeps them clean.... slugs are only there cause theres food for them..... i feed flesh which gets eaten straight away. i like to leave buiscuit down all the time for him until a few hours before i go lamping.
  20. does anyone know how i can stop slugs from getting into my dogs food bowl? i was talking to a old gardner the other day and he reckons that slugs cant get over sand (is this true?) so i was thinking of putting a tray of sand down then putting my dogs food bowl in that. its a pain in the arse washing his bowl out all the time. its just not that, i believe slugs can cause lung worm.
  21. i wouldnt like to even try and guess how many rabbits my old dog has caught over his lifetime. but i reckon if someone sent me a card for Xmas with a pound in for every rabbit he had actually caught then i reckon i would be a very happy man. what would you spend the tenner on trigger . a calculator for you as you have added them up and got way to many.
