    dont go to smal or to big, just find parents that do everything you want and more.. What i mean is, i got a whippet x bull, that should of done everything if she made the height etc, but i got her for two things rabbits and rats, now if you get a lurcher to lurcher that parents do a variety, if your obsession for hunting grows and the game you hunt (which im sure it will,its an addiction) then you'll have something there that you can work with in all areas All id say is, dont go any particular cross route, just worker to worker get abit of background and find what method suits you and

    a dog that runs home will always run home imo, might not be for 5 weeks but i took my whippet out other day when bitch was injured,caught a rabbit,next night ran home 3 times, kept taking him out to see if hed give in but wasn't into it at all
