    I was talking to a guy in the dive shop other week and he reckons he bought one in near New condition with scope n silencer for a shade over what this guy is asking. But be warey as daystate are expensive to fix at factory

    Iv also given into the post an phone call idea. Better off chucking in a few quid petrol an doing abit of leg work. In two days I bagged two golf courses an four farms.     If you feel she's still too immature don't undo all your time spent with her by rushing things , as she will be ruined. If I run my dog on two rabbits or maybe three an it looked like it could of caught but not making the effort to strike I'd call it a night and would hold off another couple of months. However frustrating it is for you..by running an missing that many in a night is just going to demoralize that dog big time. You won't hear of a dog starting later being ruined but always see young dogs "doing the business" up for sale etc. The dog never fails, the owner who entered it has.. but

    The standard silencer for them are a slip on type I think. If it got a thread on the end it will be 1/2"unf, an most silencers are this type. It will tame muzzle report but you won't hear much difference shooting it yourself

    I walk dog on proper hard stuff not soft tar mark, then do sprint work up the fields. Bitch is always looking in good condition and fit. Except when she comes in heat..an then she has it easy , she seems to loose weight during this time an abit picky with grub, she even looks sorry for herself lol

    If I was you I'd buy second hand, something with out anti tamper for the ease of servicing yourself or if it to go wrong to be able to correct any problem yourself. A rapid should see you fit. Easy to maintain, fac potential if needed, high shot count an robust as the come. I have an old mfr that's been fettled with an made to work spot on after I bought it s/h , it was abit all over the place but good still, but after a couple of bob was spent it was up an running perfect, I prefer it over my daystate too.     instead of chasing him for it, just try walking the opposite direction from him when you whistle or whatever for a retrieve. see if he follows u, if he does, praise him a hes coming in and tooty down. iv noticed with mine its alot easier if i tooty down lol she comes straight to hand rather than walk around me then give it over.
