    Cheers Simon and Si, I told my partner , her exact words was "bloody typical" lol cos iv been eyeing up the blue laminate 97k , possibly in .20 cal. I'd say the 97 handles better than the tx200 , seems better balanced and not so heavy, although they pretty much same weight on paper. Just got to decide what to get the nipper. Because at the time I was down there I had a look at the new bsa ultra with bolt, and the tac stock looked pretty rough , and cheaply made, and the cylinder and barrel had like thick old car oil on it, straight out of the box.     Funny you should name the thread this. As I got sent away from my partner being induced I nipped to gun shop to put deposit down on a gun for Xmas for the nipper. I also handled every Hw there, and as I got to the Hw97 synthetic I had a call an my beautiful daughter was born shortly after I arrived. Hahaha glad you like it, I might be getting a Hw97 too. In the future

    I took a tidy look at the brococks otherday while putting down deposit. They had better out of the box finish than the new ultras in all honesty, bsa were covered in thick grease, that looked like car oil??? Lol put me off slightly

    I just think you shouldnt let any pup play with an adult dog. Infact, I don't let my dog off with any new dog to start with, even.adult dogs. She's very dominant and big built. And her playing sometimes doesn't come accross as playing. Very serious dog..as with most lurchers are bred and built to do one thing, an one thing only like sky cat has said. Even a whippet will damage a pup if got in the way when it was running, just not worth the risk. IMO

    Haha, I was looking at the new se ultra too. But I thought it just like a Scorpion myself? The loading of it seems a safe bet for a young un too. It's only 6month old, and ain't been used apparently, the guy seems to like fads. He's asking 200 for it, so depending if he's true to his word on condition, an il run it over the chrono to check consistency too. If its not what its cracked out to be, I too will be ordering a new one. Still can't wait though lol atb
