  6. One in the independent, if you have the time a quick vote to stick it to the antis, we are on 12% at the moment http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/david-cameron-stepped-in-to-save-constituent-from-hunting-conviction-book-claims-10512170.html
  7. My mate showed me a vid on facebook the other day, a guy caught a carp and then proceeded to get a bj from it so sticking your c**k in a dead pigs mouth is nowt special
  8. That's exactly what i have been saying, all this cost for a badger cull that could be taken care of by the land owners it effects, but considering the over populated badger carries more protection than most children in this country says a lot for the politics and systems we have in place
  9. That bitch is crazy, check her out in the telegraph lol http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11188598/Anti-hunt-campaigner-guilty-of-assaulting-terrier-man.html
  10. Its quite funny that what he claims is the a majority is quite the opposite 88% at the minute dont think hunting should be banned, jump on and crush em chaps. http://www.belfastlive.co.uk/news/belfast-news/animal-rights-campaigner-bill-oddie-10048119
  11. there's a few looking into setting up a body on here - http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/346868-the-future-of-working-lurchers/ The hunting act is an attack on working dogs nothing more. I'm sure you will all get involved after the small committee sets it up.
  12. Yes thats the one, apparently the 3x CR123A Batteries last 1.5Hrs on full power, but it comes with an extension so you can fit 2x Lithium 18650 rechargeable batteries (should last 2h +) which is what i bought with it which should last longer, im going to buy another pair of batteries to keep in my pocket when out in the field just in case it runs out. I went out with a friend with a 100W halogen lamp and the only difference was the colour. The LED is more towards white/blue than the general halogen which leans more towards red, it still lit up bunnies in the long grass and the bitch got onto t
  13. I've just bought an Olight Triton MX3 its a torch style LED, I've only used it a couple times and im quite happy with it, I'll do a short write up after I've used it a bit more and let the forum know what its like ATB Micky
  14. This is the reason why we need this group now more than ever, i wonder who is paying who ? https://firstminister.gov.scot/first-minister-meets-brian-may/
  15. That's what i was thinking "running dog association (RDA)". The top people now involved should focus on promotion of lurcher work to the general public this is the way Imo to fight the ban trying to lobby Politian's will be like banging our heads against a soft cushion, and I dont agree with free membership for any length of time, the new club/group or association will need all the funds it can get to set up correctly. Come chaps this is beginning to take off now ATB Mick
  16. Hunting rabbits is just an exemption in the hunting act, this is one of the many issues that needs to be raised to the correct people
  17. If your interested in staying involved dont back out DB ATB and lets keep this moving forward Micky
  18. This is why lurcher work must have a voice and be promoted in a positive light, kids should not be forced to hang around on the streets the system is fcked
  19. If we are not going to be able to meet then we need to vote on who needs to see Bonner, socks, desertbred and skycat get my vote, first and foremost we want lurcherwork promoted in a positive light.
  20. The ALC have something in a web archive but that's all i can find http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20130123162956/http:/www.defra.gov.uk/rural/hunting/inquiry/evidence/lurcherclubs1.htm
  21. You appear to be discarding a lot of other people with expertise in plenty of areas. I dont doubt some people may have expertise in the feild but who has expertise in media and communicating with national bodies?maybe persons should let us know what attributes they can bring to the table? Y.I.S Leeview We shouldn't treat this as a job interview, any one with the passion to stop this suffocation of lurcher work should be actively involved lets work together and get this on track, the more people and the more experience we have the better Imo. Mick
  22. I have asked courser if would attend the meet, im yet to get a reply. It doesn't matter whether its a new club/group or association or built on the existing ALC (this can all be ironed out face to face), what we need is to sit down asap with all interested parties to discuss moving forward and yes my belief is courser should at least attend the preliminary meet if not to go and meet Bonner as i believe his experience will be priceless should we succeed.
  23. I could look into it but it could be quite costly to do it right, domain names, SEO's to get to the first page in google, graphics, design etc. you could use the free websites but im not sure how they work, if we could get together and set up a group/club its something that should be done properly. My Mrs is an seo for a web based company. she has got them to the top in all the countries of operation. I can always learn the tricks from her and pass the knowledge around Thanks Mushroom, having a strong web presence will be a must
  24. I had never even heard of the ALC until this thread. Never knew you existed. That must say something? I would be happy to make a monthly or annual donation to a club fighting our corner as I'm sure many others would be. Same here mate never heard of it but if its already set up, I'd take him up on his offer. Courser - What's the cost of membership? What's the plan for marketing and to achieve a web presence? How do we plan to combat anti and police propaganda? How do you plan to rock the boat enough to create some ripples and get dome attention from the right people? What can
  25. 10,840 posts and you have nothing positive to say to promote lurcher work? Ive been reading your posts for years it would be shame for you not to speak up publicly, but each to their own and all the best mate.
