  5. Eh??? so called deer expert the only wild examples are found on the Cumbria-Lancashire border from a small herd in woodland near Silverdale and Arnside is home to a small herd of very handsome Norwegian black fallow deer Those are not wild as you imply, they are a captivated herd at Levens Park and were introduced by the Bagott family. if any of those are escapees they are exactly that, which i very much doubt. When I used to live at Yealand Redmayne I used to see them regular and are Menil Fallow. as you say an introduced genus of the species They did originate from

  20. Derby tweed is as good as it gets carry a bum bag with a light weight poncho ,just in case it pours down saves getting through to the skin. Tweed dries quick though once the rain stops and its also relatively silent and blends in with the surroundings some tweed jackets like the Hucklecote for instance which i have do include a mid waterproof liner and are totally waterproof but are very expensive at £430.00 although i didnt pay that for mine as it was second hand , as for boots get yourself some Brasher Hillmaster superlites they are brilliant I have had mine now for 4 years and totally
  21. I would suggest a fixed 7 power with the largest objective lens you can get away with on your particular rifle. anything greater than 7 x mag only stresses the human iris as it as much as a normal iris can cope with without placing under stress. I have a 4-10 variable pecar on my stalking rifles and they rarely get shunted up above 7 besides each magnification up increases movement at the poa and you tend to correct this movement to compensate which isnt good. Hope this helps Stu
