  1. nice mate, little hunter up and coming!
  2. yea mate go to photobucket its really easy from there, would like to see ya pics
  3. Is there supposed to be pictures? If so, they didnt work mate.. otherwise.. K
  4. No.. What im saying is if you look respectful when you go looking for permission you will be taken more seriously rather than some kid who wants to roll around the mud... But seeing as you couldnt pick that up from what I said, im going to assume you are just some kid, thanks to that response
  5. Went on Saturday, was a great day, ran my terrier for a laugh and he did quit well till' they put him up against a whippet lol. it was too spread out this year though i missed alot of stuff cos' i didnt relise it went so far back, the birds were in the wrong spot too... next year hopefully as good
  6. o.0 http://www.ferret.com/clothes/164/ seems this site will be used alot by you..
  7. Try dressing not like a chav then? Be polite, even if they say no. Just go back a couple month later and ask how they getting on with their rabbit problem. Dont just knock and say "can i ferret on your land" ... have a chat, mention about noticing the amount of rabbits in an area easily veiwable (so they dont think your snooping around the land), give them info on what type of hunting you would like to do. but dressing smartly helps too.... i would not even consider letting a chavy dresser tag along with me. experience says that most chavy dressers,,, are chavs!
  8. was a good day mate and was great to meet ya, best bit about it was helping me talk the boss into letting me get 2 more ferrets, worked aswell! great pics! love the one of me dads pup running its little heart out for a laugh!
  9. decided am gonna get some logs.. anyone got a way to stop the tubes rolling around?
  10. yea i would get one vasectimized but like i say im sick of them fighting and to get these 2 jills i need them to live together, so its both them to get castrated..... ive got a mate and im sure some lads on here would help me out with bringing jills out of season.
  11. I think they prefer them hanging, just had mine done for £32.05 and two vasetomised for the same price. The vet said two weeks before the castrated ones can go back with the girls, and four weeks for the other two. wow thats good for Vasectomy.. there like 100+ quid here cheers lads.
  12. £30 each here from my vet as they do a special deal until december.. are they ok to get done while there balls are hangin low or do i have to wait?
  13. I've talked the misses round (with help from RakeAboot) to letting me get 2 more ferrets, gonna get 2 jill kits off me mate but in order to have the hobs living together i need to castrate them, I've tried countless times to give them a chance to get on but even in the big run they just rag each other to bits after 5 minuts of playing. So im just wondering how long after castration i can put them together and how long the recovery time is. Just so i can let me mate know how long he needs to keep hold of the 2 jills for me Cheers.
  14. thanks got soaked doing it today but wanted it finished . struggled doing it with me foot the way it is but worth it (feeling the pain now tho) thanks again oh and it only cost maybe £90 to get the wood, mesh and the hinges and hasps i rekon.. screws n that i already have in the tool box .. and i know flag stoner so got them for nout.. the wood down the sides is feather edge stuff for sheds so prolly coulda make it cheaper. and this weekend .. http://www.rabycastle.com/News_and_Events/3890/4947/
  15. Well I finished it. Going to get some rocks for them to climb around but so far there is A rope bridge, A fluffy thingy hanging from one of the supports and some pipes.. As you can see theres 2ft x 4ft worth of shade, it will be easy to wash(just use the hosepipe since its flagstones) and all the wood has been treated.
  16. Yea mate I am, gonna start working him when I can walk propley just breaking him to the ferrets in the mean time. Seems to be going well gonna get him in the terrier run for a laugh on saturday if its on this year lol
  17. Thanks guys, not bad for A tiler/plasterer if I do say so myself
  18. As I said A couple weeks ago I will be making An outside ferret area so they got A bit of exorcize, well today I decided to start it. picked up the wood, the flag stones.. then it pi$$ed down! but I decided to crack on... then A hostpital emergancy happened... so its not quit finished but here it is so far.. Well tomorrow I will be getting the mesh, some marine ply, making A lid, and just generally finishing it off.. its 6ft x 4ft x 2.5ft... fair size for 2 ferrets. I will be putting the marine ply around the the back and top as wind protection and to hide it from nosey neighbours/pas

  20. you will have a ferret testicle tickler walkin past you at one point then mate
  21. haha, just imagine some woman running over to the deer drop kicking it, i dont know why that image is in my head but it made me laugh i love that the cat just has a cheeky swipe, like one of those kids that hits you and runs ha
  22. Giving them the odd leftover is fine,,but the 2 examples you`ve mentioned are way to high in salt and other shit ,that would be bad for ferrets.. atb i thought that too tbh.. same when that kid said he fed his ferrets sausages... sausages are high in salt i believe... though after i told him he carried on doing it so meh. I fed mine tuna (in sunflower oil (drained)) the other day as i literally had nothing in till' the day after.. they LOVED it.
