when i was a kid i had 6 mice, heard lots and lots of squeeking on the nights but being a kid thought nothing of it.. woke up one morning to see the smallest of mice dead but about 20+ young mice... turns out the smallest mouse was a mil and the other 5 were females.. he literally shagged himself to death... sold all the younguns for a quid to the pet shop... good way to go i guess! sorry, Ideation just made me remember that.

Hi, i know this is for working dogs, and i do have a working dog but this is in regards to my misses's pet westie.. About 4 month ago he had an operation because he got some chew stuck in his intestines,(tho it was me that told the vet after they thought he had nerve damage -.-) after the operation we got told to mash up his food for a while so we started to buy that james welbeloved (or whatever its called) because we got told its pretty decent food and its easy for the misses to mash up with her athrities.. well now he needs fattening up as his back looking a little skinny since the oper

I boil the rabbit until the meat is falling off the bone before I do anything with it.. Curry is easy.. just curry sauce, rabbit, onions, mushrooms.. cook for however long the sauce takes can put it in a slow cooker with gravy and veg.. get some nice roast potatoes on the go before you get it out or dumplings.. my favourite though is rabbit goulash..1 Rabbit 2 Onions 2 Tablespoons of Paprika 2 Cloves of Garlic 1 Can chopped Tomato's 1 Large Potato 1 Teaspoon of Sugar Pasta of choice Cooking oil Pinch of Salt make sure the onion is thickly cut.. dont dice it and place in a -
HA when you were done i bet the ferret thought "hold on a minut... why am i back home and not another hole!?!"

gut them freeze them hoy them in with fur on.. the lot goes.. slower with the kits for obvious reasons.... they demolish pigeons though!

Well my foots not fixed yet but I desperatly needed some ferret food so asked me dad if he fancied a look out... figured I'd get the 2 adults out with the dog a couple times before I get the kits workin (next month i would think) so this seemed to kill a few birds as they say. got to the farm about 10ish and straight away there was a mixy rabbit infront of the pick up so I walked up to it and put it out its misery and threw it for the dog to have a play with while i got sorted..this is the first ever mixy rabbit ive seen on this farm and its my busiest best farm for shooting and ferreting.

Granted im not half as experienced as you lot but.. in all 4 of my ferrets, when being bitten, ive just let them bite.. I NEVER put them down i just man it out for the couple of seconds.. after a bit something clicks in there head and they must relise that biting=nothing happens.. they dont get put down until they stop.. one of the 2 kits i got recently, tried to drag my hand in the hutch and she really bit hard! few times i left the shed with blood on my fingers.. but i just didnt let her win, kept my hand in one place and she sharp relised that it gets her no where and they have both stopped

I know that, thats why theyve been castrated.. there ok now took a couple days but there fine together

A post a couple days ago mentioned about Innoculations and I think every reply was there not needed for ferrets.... yet you look at pet ferret information (sometimes its all i can find when im looking for a certain information before asking here) they all say about shots.. so I really dont know. I trust the people on here though so chances are there not neccisary..

I eventually got the 2 male ferrets to live together and they were fine for a couple of days.. Today I put them in the run together for a couple hours and when I go to put them back in the hutch it went straight back to one of them being ragged all over.. he was hissing and squeeling so to double check I split them up and looked for blood. I didnt see any blood but i did see what looks like a skin tag on the back of the ferret thats being bitten neck, It doesnt seem sore to him but ive never noticed this before... anyone know the cause of this?.... and why were the 2 ferrets fine for 2 days bu
