After trying neoprene, Barbour, Sealskinz, etc etc I can safely say that none will keep you warm once they are wet and the wind is blowing. OTC

  5. The Pests Act 1954 makes it is an offence to use a spring trap for the purposes of killing or taking animals in England and Wales other than one approved by an Order of the Secretary of State. The approval of traps is a devolved issue. Traps that are currently approved in England are specified in The Spring Traps Approval Order 1995 (Statutory Instrument 1995 No. 2427), The Spring Traps Approval (Variation)(England) Order 2007 (Statutory Instrument 2007 No. 2708) and The Spring Traps Approval (Variation)(England) Order 2009 (Statutory Instrument 2009 No. 2166). 6. No it is not exactly rare AA It is just a thunderstorm in a snow producing cumulonimbus cloud - actually fairly common in the polar/arctic airstream we are in - the higher sea temperature activates the clouds and the sub zero air temperatures at the bottom of the cloud ensure the snow falls. Good visual effects can be seen though as the snow reflects the lightning flash, where rain doesn't, and it quite often sounds louder as the air is still and distant sound is dampened by the snowfall I hope that explains it all for you? OTC

  15. John Think fox! They won't barge through thick cover unnuecessarily, they will follow the path of least resistence - cart/wheel tracks, sheep trods, whatever. I doubt whether any paddock fails to produce something of that ilk, no matter how remote. If they are too hard to spot them make some with the 4x4 OTC
  16. Whilst I am in favour of using the Internet to advertise services and educate the GP, I wonder what membership of this site has over that of the 'other' two Mole Catcher type sites that have been in existence for a while now? I mean, if it is a case of 'the more the merrier' then that's fine by me, but I don't see what else anyone being registered to this site has to gain?? OTC
