Contact Trapworks and I am sure he will make some wires up to suit your needs Failing that, I have used a brass snare eyelet wound into the snare in the right place when making them before and it works a treat OTC -

Here's one for OTC

That's a nice one - what a shame it is out in all weathers, and that rusty horseshoe on it won't help it either ... It will be a late 1800's fox and badger trap - although they are often called (and could be used as) man traps - the idea was that the animal would pick up a bait attached to the plate of the trap and be head caught rather than it be a foot hold trap as you might expect. It is missing a spring and the plate assembly but otherwise it is all there Thanks for showing it - nice to see that they are still out there OTC -

I bottled mine over Christmas, got loads in the cupboard now, although I don't think you can ever have too much. I try to make more than i need, that way some gets 'forgotten' at the back of the cupboard for a few years all being well and is a prize when it is refound! I made one demi-john with 3 litres of vodka and damsons off my tree as a trial this year, and I have to say that it is on a par, or maybe even has the edge over the sloes ... time will tell though I still have about 8 kilos of sloes in the freezer ready to do another batch too OTC

Cats, foxes, stoats, squirrels, a grass snake, little owls and once a big black belgian hare that had escaped from somewhere A big angry feral cat in a purse net is not much fun to sort out ... OTC
